Meanwhile, at the Michael C Carlos Museum, forensic detectives and paramedics had arrived at the scene and were busy investigating the surrounding area. Paramedics were in the midst of providing first aid to Colson's injuries while investigators were retrieving the decomposing bodies that were meticulously hidden in the museum. When Chief Wallace arrived on the scene, he witnessed Colson being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher. Colson's injuries had deteriorated as he was losing a lot of blood, and he began to convulse uncontrollably. Confused and concerned over seeing the officer he cared for the most in such an unfortunate state, he immediately rushed over to Colson's side.

"no no no No NO COLSON!!! Stay with me, son. STAY WITH ME!!!" Chief Wallace hysterically yelled as he held Colson's hand.

As Chief Wallace hysterically tried to keep Colson conscious, Colson began to go through an out of body expirence as he began to endure strange visions of a variety of perculiar things.

In his first abnormal vision, he imagined himself returning to his family's house after a long day of work. When he knocked on the front door, he expected his family to welcome him inside with open arms, but instead, the only thing he received as a response was dead silence. Realizing that something was wrong, Colson peeked through the peephole in front door and noticed that the house appeared empty. Wanting to confirm his suspicions, he decided to enter the house through an opened window on the side of the house. Once he got inside the house, he strolled through the vacant, unoccupied property, hoping to find any sign of his family until he entered the master bedroom where he found his wife Sarah standing in the corner of the room.

"Honey?," said Colson concernedly.

He didn't get a response. Concerned for his wife's wellbeing, Colson slowly approached her with his hand stretched out with the intent of comforting her. When he finally grabbed her shoulder and turned her around, he was shocked at the very sight he was witnessing. It turned out that the woman staring at the corner of the bedroom wasn't his wife but a monstrous and terrifying being whose face was made up of the mangled flesh of his family. Colson, too shocked to react, froze on the spot, lowering his guard and allowing the monstrous creature to lunge at his face.

This abnormal vision seemed to be too much for Colson to endure as he woke up to him arriving at the hospital and being taken into the emergency room to endure an operation. Chief Wallace, hysterical and distressed, had to be held back by the hospital's security to prevent any disruption while Colson was in his operation.

After securing their patient in the emergency room, the doctors conducted an intense operation on Colson to help stop the bleeding from his right eye.

Whilst in the midst of the operation and under an intense amount of anethestetics, Colson began to expirence another strange hallucination.

Here, he found himself in the Apostoles of Wrath HQ, standing directly in front of the haunted museum painting of the same terrifying being that led the unlucky museum janitor down a path of insanity. He felt the surge of red energy emanating from the painting, calling to him, trapping him in an inescapable situation. With no chance of resisting the painting's energy, Colson slowly approached the painting, accepting the inevitable consequences of being in its presecene. Once Colson got as close as possible to the painting, It suddenly became sentient and grabbed Colson by the throat in the exact same manner as it did to unlucky Museum janitor a few months prior, Colson struggled to fight off against the paintings' immense strength as it was simply too powerful to overcome. As he writhed in agony, the painting out of nowhere delivered some chilling words to Colson, words that sent chills down his spine.

"Your life is a lie, human. A simple illusion. There is nothing beyond your existence, only pain and darkness," said the painting menacingly.

All these abnormal visions seemed to be too much for Colson to endure as the anethestetics finally wore off, and he awoke from his comatose state, drenched in copious amounts of sweat.
