As I wake up I realize Enzo already left.

I make up my bed and head into my closet to find something to wear.

OMG all these clothes.

they must've went shopping while I was sleep.

I decide on a white graphic tee with some tan cargos and my 4's.

I decided to just throw my hair in a claw clip.

I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

As I head downstairs, I walk into the kitchen to see all my brothers talking and eating.

"Morning." I say.

They all say "Good morning." back.

I walk into the pantry and grab a box of fruity pebbles.

After I pour a bowl of cereal, I go sit at the  island and start to eat.

When I'm done eating I go to the sink and wash my bowl.

I tell my brothers that, "I'm going on a walk and that I'll be back in like a hour."

"Ok. Call us if you need anything." Matteo says.

I nod my head and exit the kitchen.

"Verbal answers." He says.

"Ok!" I call out as I walk out the door.

After walking about 10 minutes, I finally spot the park towards my left.

As I cross the street I decide to go sit in the swings.

While I'm swinging on the swings a boy my age starts walking up to me.

He's tall with curly black hair and piercing blue eyes.

"Hi precioso, I'm Santiago and I was wondering if you wanted to come play basketball with us. We need one more person on our team." (beautiful)

"I'm Valentina, and I'll play!" I say.

We walk over to the basketball court.

"I found another teammate." He calls out.

"These are my friends, Maria and Francisco."

"Hi I'm valentina." I say.

"Hi, so nice to meet you Valentina!" She says.

"Hi." Francisco says.

Santiago says, "Alright, now that we've introduced ourselves, I call Valentina. Lets play!"

We play two rounds of 21 and we won both times.

Since it was hot outside Maria asked, "Do you guys wanna go get icecream?"

We all say "Yes!" in unison.

We walk to Santiago's car and I hop in the passenger seat.

As he's driving to the icecream parlor, he rests his hand on my thigh.

It takes everything in me to not let my thoughts consume me.

When we pull up to the icecream parlor, we all take turns ordering.

I decide on Brownie Fudge icecream.

We get our icecream and sit at one of the tables.

As we finish up our icecream, we head back to the car.

He drops Maria and Lucia off first.

When we pull up to my house, I tell him, "Thank you! For the first time in a long time I had a really great time today."

He gives me a tight lipped smile.

I get out the car and start walking to the house.

Once I get in the house I start walking upstairs.

I flinch as Gio yells, "Valentina come back down those stairs right now!"

I put my head down as I slowly walk down the stairs.
