"No! Is he alright?"

"Then what happened? Why are we here?"

"The strain on her little heart! Her heart is giving out! She probably only as a few hours to live and because we are over sixty they will not consider a transplant!"

Horrified, the other two covered their faces, tears began to leak down their cheeks.

"Can, can we see her?"

"You are family too; the children already said goodbye and are home with the grandkids. Ren is already making... making...."

The three friends went in the room, holding hands, and looked down at the still body on the bed. Tubes, oxygen mask, medical devices, but she still looked beautiful.
