'Strange dream... or it wasn't a dream'

He's not even sure how long he waited.

He's got a watch on the wrist yet he didn't want to look at it. He thinks it'll make himself look impatient. Impatient for their return.

Truth is, if only he could be honest and open to people, he would really love to admit the guilt in his heart. However, unwanted feelings kept inciting him, building up his ego.

The main door of the house was opened harshly. Voices of bickering could be heard coming closer but they stopped whatever they were doing when they saw one of theirs surprisingly in the living room, sitting on the couch.

Silence filled the air, unable to or most likely unknown to say. It seems like there's something that happened between them and the Leaf Elemental but they're not bold enough to pry it up, except for the Lighting Elemental. He just shouts the Leaf Elemental while approaching the owner of the name.

They were startled by the house but what surprises them the most is—

He slapped him.

Thorn : What the hell is that for?!

Thunder : Don't you dare do that again!

Thorn : Huh??? What the hell are you talking about?!

Cyclone : See, Quake? I was right, that punch cleared his memories!

Ice : Tch, Cy. You and your mouth

Thorn : What punch? And what's with my memory? What are you guys talking about?!

Solar : It's nothing! Ehem. Anyway, doesn't anyone feel sore or anything? We should get treated. After all, we all left right away after the mission accomplished without even getting any treatment from TAPOPS.

Blaze : Oh yeah! Besides, we are tired so...

Quake : It's best we get our rest. You too, Thorn. Goodnight.

Thus, they all left the room, which is suspiciously in rush.

'Strange'

Trying to clear his mind while walking himself to his room, a sudden rush of forgotten memories before he fell unconscious hit his head as he sat on the bed with a dizzy mind.

It was just almost another normal evening at Kokotiam, but with less customers, which gave them chances to clean up messes from this morning.

Except for one of them who apparently just sit quietly, isolating himself.

While his brothers only sighed as they were busy discussing about him while cleaning up.

But that does not mean they are not aware of him because just as the sudden mutter of words that escaped his lips, it quickly caught their attention along with the knife he smith himself, was held in his hands in the air, seemingly to point to his heart.

They tried to reach, but the thorny roots emerges from the ground surrounding the Leaf Elemental right in front of their sight prevented them.

Thorn : Life is short but even in death, memories are eternal. So they thought...

Thorn : They also said darkness is calming and soothing, yet they are afraid of them

Ice : Stop!

Thorn : So desperate for the light, you forgot your goal. You are a fool...

All : Thorn!

Just as the knife was about to hit, Quake, apparently reflexes too fast after escaping the thorny roots and knocked the suicidal maniac head with his earth hand too hard that blood gushes out.

The last thing before he fell unconscious was the voices of his brothers screaming his name.

Tired chuckles escaped his lips as his eyes slowly started to become heavy and his consciousness drifting into the dream realm.
