Princess Maegorarushed through the castle when she received word that her aunt had given birth to her third child.
The young girl charged into the room, ignoring the knights outside the chambers guarding her aunt. She stopped in his tracks when she saw her aunt holding the newborn baby, with her mother standing next to her.
The first thing she noticed was the little brown hairs on the baby's head. Maegora was only eleven years old, but she was certainly not blind. The Princess knew that Jacaerys and Lucerys, her cousins, were not descended from the man Rhaenyra married. His cousins were fathered by Ser Harwin Strong, and it was painfully obvious to all that the boys were nothing like their supposed father, Ser Laenor.
Her cousins were bastards, yet Maegora couldn't care less. She loved them and she would defend them until her last breath.
"Maegora." Princess Rhaella said.
Maegora hesitated to step forward as her aunt was drenched in sweat and looked like she had been in pain for the past few hours.
"Come, my precious. Meet your cousin." Rhaenyra had a huge smile on her face that showed Maegora that her aunt was fine after she pushed out a baby. That her aunt is alive and well.
