I've decided to live my scholarly life without thinking of him.
Perhaps stepping out of that bubble caused this new found thinking.
I just minded my own business and gave him quick glances and walked away.
There were bigger things going on that I must attend to.
This new love interest was sending me no signals... Or so I thought....
(After about almost two of leaving this story in the dust, I AM BACK! :) )
Fully focused on myself, I headed to our lounge to read.
As if it wasn't bad enough, he was there reading too... (*deep sigh)
To put the final cherry on top, the only available seat in the room was RIGHT...NEXT..TO..HIM!
(OMG!) Cupid, you're a fucking bastard for doing this!
Could this be fate? Could I be getting my answer now?
So I sat beside him and I didn't utter a single word to him.
I began to read and I acted like he didn't existed, as if he was a stone wall.
I side-eyed him and couldn't help but notice he's doing Chemistry and I looove Chemistry!
I wanted to help him, and I did. (DAMN. So much for self control.)
I went back to reading. No more interruptions.
A few minutes have passed and feel something that gently brushed my foot...
It was HIS foot!
My heart rate began to increase and I don't know why I'm overreacting to someone's foot being beside mine.
But he didn't stop there...
Like a snake, his foot slithered up my shin and he began to wrap it around my leg, all while reading his book!
Ol' boy thinks he's slick for doing this! (LOL)
(For context, we were behind a desk and no one could see our feet.)
I savoured this moment as his leg glides up and down mine,
while I get goose bumps and electric energy zips up and down my spine.
I was getting turned on by a leg rub and I was okay with that.
It was from HIM!
But then he stopped and went back to reading and my heightened and intimate encounter was over.
I felt like I got an answer, somewhat.
I was convinced he was like me.
There was no way somebody randomly seduces your leg like that and they're straight! It's not possible!
It's not realistic.
He left the room and doubt ensued.
My quest wasn't really finished. The evidence wasn't concrete.
