Chapter2: Another New Kid

Alice's P.O.V:

After school I decided to walk instead of catching a ride with Katie. I was too busy thinking, that I walked straight into a wall, or at least I thought it was. Surprisingly I expected to fall and hurt my ass, but instead I looked up and happen to find myself staring. He was beautiful, too beautiful to be exact. His eyes were a starburst of blue and grey looking like shooting stars yet pulling my soul towards him, it felt hypnotizing. I didn't realize his arms were steadying me from falling. His smile was beautiful as well that his words were faint.

"I'm sorry!" I blurted out, as I mentally scolded myself. How long was I staring? "Your fine! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump you. I'm brand new here and I was texting my friends to see if they knew where the shopping mart was, but as luck will have it they don't. I'm sorry again. " The beautiful stranger rambled on.
"I'm fine. It's ok" I said with a smile.

I felt his arms removed from me as he shook his short curls as he placed his phone in his pants pocket. "I'm headed to the shopping mart now to pick up a snack, would you care to join?" He looked up happy almost like a child. I smiled and said, "I'm Alice." Quickly he took my hand,  "Thank you and I'm Will."

"Oh ok. Do you know Lizzy and Nicholas?? "
" Yeah they are my friends. I was supposed to start school today with them but I had family stuff to help with. How do you know them??"
" I showed them around school today. If you'd like I can show you around as well tomorrow?" I said with a smile.

I walked up my driveway with a smile on my face. Excited to finally be home and relax.
" Hey honey! How was school? " my mom asked .
" Schools school I guess. However I did meet 3 new kids."
" Nice. Any cute ones? What's their names?"
I thought back to the beautiful wall. " Lizzy, Nick and Will. You have to see will though mom. He's absolutely beautiful."
"We'll that's good sweetie go do your homework then get ready for dinner."

After getting showered I grabbed my phone because it kept going off. Checking my notifications I seen that Lizzy and Nick had found my social media accounts. Confirming their follow/ friend request I decided to check their post. I scrolled through looking at how much fun they like to have. I was a little envious seeing as my own parents wouldn't let me go to much parties.

At dinner I was scrolling through my phone and texting Katie.
" hey love what's the policy on phones at the table?" Mom said while eyeballing my phone
" I am so sorry I was just texting Katie. I promise no more phone" I said with a smile while putting my phone down on the table.
" So sweetie did you want to do anything for your birthday? I know it's coming up in a couple weeks."
" I was thinking maybe just a small get together? If that's okay with you?"
"Love you know your birthday is special and we'd be okay with anything." Said my dad finally chiming in.

I laid in my bed watching Netflix when my phone chimed. Looking over I was trying to figure out who would be texting me this late and saw it was an unkown number.

Unknown: Heyy girl! It's Lizzy save my number. Anyways we were wondering if your and Katie are able to show us around town this weekend??

Alice: Hey boo saving your contact now. Also of course we can. Maybe we can even catch a movie or something.

Lizzy: Totally! See you at school tomorrow ❤️

Alice: you too. Good night

I turned my tv off then plugged in my phone getting ready to finally sleep.
