There I was again tonight
I was at my coming to age ceremony it was like any other ball and it was like I had always been there alone.
Forcing laughter, faking smiles
I did what I always did .Going on with their jokes at laughing at them.Smiling at their faces so they would be pleased they didnt know what was fake and what real.Nevertheless I kept my fake smile to please them and keep them just.
Same old tired, lonely place
It was just like when father died all that weight I held but little did i know the feeling I felt.I felt tired lonely and sad as well , how I wish I had someone to tell all this to.But Alas!Where could I find the person pictured in my mind.
Walls of insincerity, shifting eyes and vacancy
The people they smiled,they laughed and spoke but the meaning of their smiles was nothimg but greed.I felt empty as if I had been drained.
Vanished when I saw your face
But then I saw a light, a hope ,a dream are you really real or am I in a dream.You entered with grace yet with such beauty that all my worries disappeared when I saw your face.
All I can say is, it was enchanting to meet you.....
