THIRD PERSON POV
"What are you doing here?" Violet said, her stance already in battle position. Klaus returned
from the library, and was now shocked that Carmelita was in their house. Isadora tensed up,
already preparing herself for Carmelita's high voice, but what came instead were sobs. "I'm so
so so sorry Baudelaires, I made the wrong decision going with Esme. I was horrible to you in
Prufrock Prep. And left Esme as soon as I heard about what she has done to my parents. I don't
expect you to forgive me, but please let me stay here for the night. I am an orphan and have
nowhere left to go." And with that she collapsed on the floor, begging on her knees. Quigley and
Duncan both heard the commotion and came rushing. They had twin expressions of shock on
their faces to find the one and only Carmelita Spats begging on the floor. Isadora's face
softened, and Violet helped Carmelita up from the floor. "Thank you for realising what you did
wrong Carmelita, and I am sorry about your parents. It is a bit hard to forgive you completely,
but I can tell that you're really sorry, so you can stay here for the night, if it's ok with my friends."
Carmelita nodded and looked around, scared that she will be rejected by them. Quigley smiled
and she relaxed a bit. "It's fine by me, There is a guest room further down the hall, where you
can rest. I will ask Sunny to prepare you some food. We will check in with Justice Strauss about
you. But don't worry, I'm sure you will be fine." And with that, Quigley went to the kitchen,
calling Sunny's name. Violet smiled, she knew that Quigley had a soft heart, and that he
couldn't bear to leave someone that's in desperate need of help alone. Whether they were
friend or foe. Klaus helped Carmelita to the room, while Duncan went in search of Fiona to fill
her in on the news. Isadora and Violet took a deep breath, and walked in search of Justice
Strauss. Desperately hoping in their hearts, that she would let their new guest stay.
