It's been 2 days Karina staying at Winter's apartment. Karina always feels safe when she's staying with Winter cuz why not? Winter is her healer! Also, people around Winter really well-known and Karina trusts all of them.

Karina really feels safe around Winter. Really.

"Winter", Karina called the younger girl.

"Yeah?"

Karina stood up from her seat and walked towards Winter with a smile. Winter was startled for a while when Karina slowly closer and closer to her, until Karina sat right next to Winter.

"Let me take a look at your wound", Karina said as she slowly removed Winter's first layer of cloth, that is her hoodie.

"Y-You don't need---", Winter couldn't finish her words when Karina already lifted Winter's shirt up. Winter was burning red when she realized that Karina was looking at her body, again. Of course, she was shy about that.

"Hmmm... looks like the wound gonna be gone soon", Karina said happily.

"I think so?"

"Your gunshot wound seems to recover too!"

"Karina", Winter called the older one all of a sudden.

"Hmm?"

"How long do you plan to stay with me? I mean- you have your grandma out there", Winter said to her.

"So you don't want me to stay here any longer?", Karina pouted to Winter, making Winter avoid their eye contact. She cannot look at how cute Karina is right now. She might get a heart attack if she looks at her. Plus, their gap between each other was just inches.

"T-That's not what I--"

"It's fine. I told her yesterday that I'm staying at your house. She said to me to thank you! She asked me to THANK... YOU!", Karina said while pointing her finger, already touching Winter's right shoulder.

"I get it, can you stop?", Winter turn her head to the left in embarrassment. Karina's face was too close making Winter's heart beat so fast. Karina just giggled happily looking at Winter's expression. But then their happy moment was disturbed by a phone call.

Ring! Ring!

Karina picked up the phone in annoyance when she saw who was the caller who disturbed her quality time with Winter.

"Hello, Miss Hwang Yeji. What a great timing to call me during my--"

"Rina, where are you!", Yeji shouted through the phone call. Karina was startled at how Yeji shouting at her right now. Why? Is there something wrong?

"I'm at her house. Why?", Karina replied.

"This is so bad! You need to come to the campus right now! Your father is crazy!!", Yeji shouted again, enough to make Winter who was just right next to Karina hear everything Yeji said. Winter slowly sitting nearer to Karina, trying to hear what Yeji is going to say.

"What happened?", Karina asked.

"He came to the campus just now, asking us where are you. Then we said that we didn't know. He then instructed his men to take Aeri with him, and he will only let her go if you come and meet him!"

"What?", Karina asked in shock. Her father took-- no! Kidnapped Aeri? Just to make Karina come to see him? He has gone insane!

"What should I do, Rina? Aeri--"

"That man really has gone insane! Yeji, why don't you--", suddenly Winter took the phone from Karina's hand. Karina was startled for a moment but she just let it be because she knew that Winter might know something to do about it.

"Yeji, are you still at the campus?", Winter asks.

"Who are you? Ah... That girl Karina always talks about? Y-Yes, I'm near the cafe. Why?"

"I think you and Aeri might also be in great danger. Just wait right there. I'm gonna ask my friend to take care of you", Winter said.

"Your friend? Who?", Yeji asked.

"You will know later. Just follow wherever she asks you to go with okay? It's the best for you"

"A-Alright...", Yeji was a bit unsure with Winter's word. But since she knew that this girl she talking with right now was a trustworthy person to Karina, Yeji decided to believe Winter.

Then the phone call ended, with both of them staring at each other in worry. They think... just what gonna happen to Karina again? What did Karina's father want actually? Karina's eyes were a bit red, almost shed some tears on her precious cheek but gladly Winter wiped it all using her thumb.

"Aeri... I swear to god, if he do something to her, I will not--", Karina said as panic flashed on her face.

"Rina, take a deep breath. It's not your fault. Now let's go, cuz we need to go to somewhere", Winter smiled a little bit, trying to cheer up the older girl. Karina nodded her head and smiled a little bit.
