IT WAS THE WEEKEND and Y/n was standing in front of the carnival while looking around for Kevin, he was starting to get anxious that his friend wouldn't show up.
After two minutes later the black haired boy finally showed up and walks towards y/n "There you are!! I thought you would ditch me off" Y/n says with a fake pouty face and side hugs Kevin
"You'll make me regret coming here" Kevin grumpily mutters
"Sorry Sorry, I am just very excited I can't contain my excitement right now" The energetic boy squeals from happiness
Kevin rolls his eyes in annoyance, he was definitely going to regret this
"What do you want to do first? We can go play one of those shooting games where we win a prize?" Y/n suggested while looking around for stuff they can do together
"Yeah um... I don't really care, I'll just do whatever you do" Kevin replies, he seems really un interested in their little hang out, it was making y/n really frustrated how dry and un caring Kevin is, but he still won't shut up until he smiles
"Okay! Let's go um, win a plushie!! Let's get matching ones" He grabs Kevin's hand and runs towards the game stand
"Hello!! Shoot the ball in one of those baskets ball hoop and win a prize!!" The guy standing behind the stand shouts to grab the people's attention to play and win, y/n runs towards the guy
"HAIIII!!! I want to play!!" He pulls out the ticket and hands it to the worker
"Alright here you go, three balls, if you can throw them inside the net you win a prize"
Y/n grabs one of the ball and steps a bit back "Watch Kevin!! I am really good at those stuff"
He holds the ball really tightly before throwing it, the way he threw it was really weird but surprisingly it landed inside the net
"Wohooo!! Score!!" Y/n loudly says in happiness
Kevin watches in amusement, he was surprised that the silly boy knew how to shoot properly inside the net
Y/n shoot the second and third ball inside the net and wins a prize
"Congratulations!! Your a winner!! Choose your prize" the guy says with a grin
"Oh I want the... hmm hard choice, they are all so cute...." Y/n was taking time to choose which plush he wanted, Kevin was getting annoyed and un patient by how slow he is
"Just pick any!! It won't matter!!" Kevin says in annoyance
"It does matter!! I have to make the right choice now don't interrupt me while I am thinking"
He goes back into deciding which one to choose
"Okay!! I'll choose the pink pink kitten!!" The (h/c) finally chooses which plush he wanted
The worker nods and grabs the plushie for him
"Kevin!! Your turn to play and win a plush like me!!"
"Um no thanks... I'll skip" Kevin groans "can we go eat? I am starving
Y/n slightly pouts when Kevin didn't want to get a matching plushie but he's pout turns into a smile when Kevin mentions food
"Yeah!! Let's go eat!!" He starts to skip towards the small food stands
Kevin and y/n looks at the different food stands to see what they wanted to eat
"What will you pick?" The optimistic boy says while looking down at his short friend
"Eh I'll just get a hot dog or something" Kevin replies, he honestly didn't like how his friend was taller than him, he wanted to be the taller one even tho it's not a big gap
"Oh my gosh Kevin!! You are so telepathic!! You've read my mind!!! I was also going to get hot dog!!!" Y/n grins and claps his hands "high five!!"
Kevin looks at y/n's hand who was infront of him for a high five "yeah um let's go buy before the line gets longer"

Kevin and y/n were sitting on a bench while eating their food, y/n was happily humming and kicking his feet while eating while Kevin was blankly staring at the floor, he notices how dirty and messy y/n's shoes are, it was convers and they were so dirty?? It annoyed Kevin somehow
"Um your shoes are really dirty and a bit ripped" he points at the smiley boy's shoes
"Ah- they're my favorite pair" he smiles and looks down at them
"Yeah but they're dirty and they look like they're about to be ripped fully"
"I know..." He blushes a bit in embarrassment, he didn't want to tell Kevin that he wasn't very rich and this was his only pair of shoes
"You don't have any other shoes?"
"I have fake crocs? But I only wear them in gardening"
"Seriously? Just buy new ones" Kevin says before taking a bite of his food
"Um yeah I am saving up for one" y/n nervously chuckles
Kevin looks at y/n with a raised eyebrow, he felt like the always happy and energetic boy is lying to him, he tries to ignore it but something itches in his brain.

They both had a lot of fun in the carnival, they even rode the Ferris wheels together, it was really fun, well fun for y/n Kevin was so overwhelmed by how loud and talkative y/n was the entire ride and won't shut up about his pet lizard, he wanted to jump of the ride.
Finally the day was over and both of them goes separate ways, Kevin goes back to his apartment and so does y/n.
When Kevin arrives to his Apartment he unlocks the door and walks in, he was so unbelievably tired, he doesn't even change into his clothes he just lays down on the couch and thinks, he had a weird feeling about his new friend, it's like he was hiding something but doesn't want to say, it was bad that Kevin wanted to know what his friend was hiding and that it isn't his business but he still can't help but stay awake just thinking about it.
Maybe if Kevin is kind enough y/n will tell him all his secrets. Kevin smiles at the idea before closing his eyes and drifting to sleep
