THE WARM SEPTEMBER AIR filled hogwart's hallways, students loosened their ties and took off there robes. it was always fun to have warm days at school, but this year was too warm. jules and bailey sat against the tree in the grounds of hogwarts. bailey waved her wand around, lifting a leaf around the pair, on the other hand, jules sat there revising for the next potions test, writing notes in the margin of the book. "would you give it a rest jules?" bailey groaned bored from the lack of communication from her friend. "i can't fail another potions test, my parents would kill me," jules posh accent spoke, bailey grabbed the book off the girl, jules reached out trying to get it back, but bailey held it to far away. "your parents won't kill you, it's just you that would be disappointed." bailey corrected. "you can it back after we have a conversation for once in six hours!" bailey emphasised the six, "we literally spoke five minutes ago!" bailey didn't care, but started waving in the distance. jules looked over to see her friend waving over her twin brother and his friends. "ron! i need to tell you something!" she shouted at him. ron came over with harry and hermione walking behind him. harry and hermione were never really fond of jules, as she is friends with draco and theo who just wind them up and the fact that she's a slytherin. "you okay?" ron asked his sister, "yeh i just wanted someone to speak to, because jules was too busy studying," bailey shrugged, ron pulled his face. "i dont have long, me and harry have charms in 5," ron explained. "well well well, what do we have here?" a cocky voice spoke behind them.

jules threw her head back knowing what was about to happen. draco and theo appeared from behind the trio and went to stand next to their friends. "draco can you not please," jules asked, but draco just ignored her stepping towards harry. "what do you want potter?" draco spat, "here to ruin my family anymore with your lies?" the past few months rumours about dracos family had been in the prophet, and they came from the one and only chosen one. "you know all those rumours are true malfoy, how do you think your father got that black eye?" draco pulled his wand out of his pocket pointing it at the boy. "how dare you speak about my family like that!" jules jumped to her feet, pulling draco back. "think it's time for you go to charm potter," jules spoke coldly to the boy, hermione pulled harry away pulling a face a draco and jules. ron said goodbye to his sister and walked after his friends.

after classes had finished, everyone was sat in the common room. jules legs were sprawled across baileys lap and her head rested across enzo's. theo and draco played muggle cards on the floor next to fire and blaise and adrain talked about a girl on ravenclaw that they both fancied. a tall hufflepuff walked through the slytherin common room looking lost, "my, i wonder why your here leffe?" theo got to his feet. "i erm-" he stuttered, "he's here for pansy theo," jules explained, jumping up from the sofa. "can you make it any harder for the boy? i'll go and get her james," jules walked up the spiral stairs making her way to her dorm. "hey pans, that hufflepuff is here for you," jules said walking into her dorm, seeing pansy touching up her makeup in the mirror.  "merlin hes early!" pansy jumped at the sudden sight of the girl. pansy grabbed a jacket and followed jules down the stairs. "hi, you look gorgeous," james smiled at pansy, giving a side hug. "bye guys have fun!" jules waved the two off. draco angrily gazed at the two walking out of the common room. "oh my god draco, you can't be jealous, you never made a move at pans!" bailey through a pen at his head, draco hugged throwing it back at the girl.

draco has liked pansy since 4th year, but he would never say that out load. everyone soon caught on it through out the two years. pansy was completely oblivious to the situation, she always thought he was being a good friend, jules and bailey had told her on multiple occasions but she just shrugged it off.

over time, the common room became empty. jules, enzo and bailey were the only ones left. bailey and jules worked on the potions homework, whilst enzo sat in the corner of the sofa writing in his diary. the atmosphere was calm, the flames from the fire cracked, the warm air from outside brushed past the open window, the scratching on baileys pen on the parchment. "enzo what you writing?" jules asked, enzo looked over at her and shook his head. "why wont you tell us, what's so secretive that you wont tell me?" jules groaned, enzo shut the diary and placed it next to him. "i dont think you know the purpose of a diary jules," enzo smirked at her, jules looked over at his journal next to him. she punched forward grabbing it and walked to the other side of the sofa with it. "jules give it back!" enzo panicked reaching forward at her. "nope!" enzo ran towards the girl, who just moved to the other side of the room. they began running around the common room, bailey sighed throwing her head back. "jules i swear to merlin!" enzo threatens getting closer to her. jules squealed when enzo tackled her the floor with a loud thud. "ow," jules let out, enzo grabbed his diary back standing back up. "and for that, i'm off to bed," enzo scrunched his face up. "night enzo!" bailey spoke collecting all of her things. "good night enzo," jules smiled, wiping herself off, "night bailey," enzo replied."goodnight jules,"

bailey and jules were sat in their beds, doing whatever, when pansy stormed in the room and slamming the door behind her. "guessing the date didn't go well?" bailey asked, pansy let out a loud groan before flopping on her bed. "why does every boy in this school they can just sleep with me!" pansy asked, jules got out of her bed and walked over to pansy giving her a comforting hug. "well i know one person-" jules cut bailey off by throwing a pillow at her. pansy fell into the hug which was well needed. bailey made sure her friend was okay, before she went to sleep. jules and pansy stayed awake talking about the situation. "it was perfect, a nice little date in the astronomy tower, he even got me gifts, but no! he had to make sure that i was going to give him before we went back!" pansy threw her hand in the air. "you just need to find someone who wants an actual relationship not just want to sleep with you," jules suggested, "is there anyone in this school who actually likes me?" pansy looked over at jules who's at there smiling, "let guess draco?" pansy mocked, jules pointed at her. "bingo!" pansy rubbed her face with her hands. "well he doesn't have the best dating reputation does he?" pansy defined, jules sighed. "pansy, draco is crazy about you. when you went on the date he was fuming. the boy is head over heal for you!" jules cried out, "if you don't give him one chance it will kill him" pansy looked down at her hands, thinking back to the times where draco complimented her, help her with homework when one else would, he would never do that for anyone else. "i'll think about it jules," pansy admitted. "now give it at rest and go to bed it's getting late." pansy turned off her bedside lap, leaving the room in pitch black. jules creeped into her bed, trying not too fall over because of it lack of vision. "night pans," jules whispered.
"night jules,"
