i can't wait to blow my brains out from the schedule that i'm going to have tomorrow :) no more resting and relaxing for meeeeee

rebel is clinically insane :))))

Due to Bobo claiming that he knew exactly where to travel next, (Name) and Jard decided to put their faith in him, and allow him to lead the way. "How exactly are we supposed to get there, though? With a name like The Backrooms....it sounds ominous just from the title alone."

Thinking back to his adventure in The Poolrooms, Jard recalled that he had..well, fallen through the ground in order to access it. Perhaps these Backrooms would be the same? But he wasn't entirely certain on *how* to find it, so he didn't say anything.

As they were walking, something dawned on (Name). They barely freaked out over the appearances of the Nextbots that almost killed them back in the Indoor Courtyard, and casually jumped out of a broken window with shards that could have cut their skin. They spoke to these two guys that they barely knew about, and allowed them to come along on their "journey". Did they even have an end destination? Death? Wait, no. Death was the *final* destination, meaning a *lot* of stops had to be made along the way before that.

Something was quite peculiar to them though: why didn't any of this phase them? They expected to be hyperventilating or something by now, and yet, here they were, strolling alongside Jard and Bobo as if it was just a pleasant stroll off to the club or something. Almost resembling something of a typical workday. A workday..an occupation...a job...a schedule..

The more they thought about that day, the less attention they paid to their surroundings. So while Bobo led the line, (Name) walked in the middle, and Jard was the one at the end. However, when they abruptly stopped due to the harsh light of the sun beating down on them, their eyes began to water, and their vision became glassy. Something wasn't right here. Something like darkness consumed their vision, and they brought their hands up to their eyes, trying to rub the obscurity, feeling a ray of heat shoot through their bones. It hurt, it hurt a lot, and when they stopped..Bobo and Jard were nowhere to be found.

They were no longer walking alongside their two newfound companions. Instead, they sat in their small office cubicle, hunched over a computer screen, fingers pounding the keys in hurried, unfluid motions. They wanted to get out of here, and fast. If they stayed any longer, they could get slammed with even more work. Their back ached, but they found sitting up straight did it no good, and this was the fastest way to complete whatever shit the company had decided to throw their way.

One of their coworkers stood up from their computer, ambling over to where they sat, watching them type furiously, and attempted to start some kind of a dialogue with them. However, with (Name)'s patience at the tipping point, they simply tuned their colleague out, typing faster, ignoring the aches in their hands. It was starting to hurt, but there was only a little bit left. Glancing at the clock in the bottom right hand corner, they read the time, grimacing. "7:42". It was already really late, and they came to a stop, letting out a quiet sigh. When they turned around in their chair, they noticed that there was a large black bar over the face of the other worker. Their features were blacked out. No face. Just their usual suit and tie.

Standing up, they pushed in the chair, and left the office without saying goodbye to anyone, the computer going into shutdown mode by itself. They needed to just go home. Their head was killing them, and they left the office in a hurry, disappearing into the crowd of people that stood on the sidewalk. They had to fight their way through the crowd, and push their way onto a crowded subway, holding on for dear life as it surged through the busy city. Pushing their way out of the subway, they stalked home, shutting themselves in their home, collapsing onto their couch.
