Chapter 4.

Leian's P.O.V

It had been 4 days since I had been in my phone, so many notifications were coming in all it would do was freeze. So I had been using my iPad and hadn't logged into any social media. All I did was FaceTime and text.

It was Wednesday around 8:30 so I figured my phone wouldn't be blowing up. I turned it on and a bunch of old notifications were coming in.

I went to Instagram and had almost 700 new followers and, hundreds of comments on my pictures and, 800 new likes. I went to the hashtag and saw thousands of people had posted me. Me and Asia's followers together was a thousand and something.

I had almost 50 DM's, but one thing was sticking out. People were commenting "check Beez page". I lowkey got scared.

I went to his page and saw 2 new photos and a video. I liked the photos and clicked the video.

"Soooo y'all niggas keep tagging me and blowing my shit up about taking this girl to prom, like really blowing my shit up" I jumped up and screamed. He was talking about me! I remembered my family was sleep so I quieted down. The video was from 2 days ago.

I flew to my Instagram DM's and started looking through them for a DM from him. Finally I saw he had sent me a DM. I opened it and saw a paragraph.

"Hello Leian!! I see you got a hashtag started and a bunch of people to tag me. I know that was probably a lot of work for you, I would like to inform you that I CAN attend your prom with you! I want you to call me so we can get our colors right and figure out when I need to be there. I'm trusting you not to give out my info. So please don't let me down."

I couldn't contain myself, I pulled out my iPad and FaceTimed Asia. It took forever then she finally answered.

"How may I help you" she said turning over in her bed. She had her head scarf on and everything. I couldn't help but laugh. Then just held my phone screen up to the camera.

"Leeeeeeeeeee she yelled" she smiled hard. "I know" I said laughing. "Well did you call him what did he say?" She asked me. " I haven't called yet" I said. "Well what are you waiting for? That was 2 days ago he could have changed his mind" Asia made a really good point. "It's late now" she just looked at me. "Shoulda kept your phone on"she said shaking her head. " I'm gonna call tomorrow, I'm tired and wanna sleep now"I said. "Okay then, night luh ya" she said. "Same" I said as I hung up the call and turned off my light and went to sleep.

The next day I woke up and started to get ready for school. I went to my closet and pulled out some jean capris and white T-shirt. I went in my bathroom and ran the water so it could get hot. I grabbed my wash cloth and placed it under the water, then I washed my face. I grabbed some lotion then ran it up my arms and down my legs. I went back in my room and put on my capris, then my plain white shirt. I grabbed my thick gold chain out my jewelry box and placed it around my neck. I grabbed a headband off my night stand and put my braids into a high ponytail. I went in my closet and grabbed a pair of socks, then I slipped my white hightop vans on. Then sprayed some channel on. I grabbed my side back and phone then headed down stairs.

"Morning Le" my mom and dad said to me as I entered the kitchen. "Morning" I said as I opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. "Do you mind taking day to school?" She asked me as she sipped her coffee. "No I can take her" I said. "Thanks hunny" my said walking over and kissing me on the cheek.

My mom and dad both left and I went up stairs to see what a day was was doing.
I went in her room to see her combing her hair. "You ready" I asked her. "Yes we can go now" she said grabbing her book bag.

We both left and got in the car, I called Asia to let her know that I would be taking day to school. I dropped day off and headed for school.

I parked and got out going in the school. I saw Asia and Demetrius standing there along with Sunny and Jordan. Sunny was all hugged up on Demetrius as if they were really a couple. I could tell Asia was annoyed.

"Hey guys" I said walking up to them. "Took you long enough" Asia said to me. "Girl shut up" I said laughing. "Hey Jordan, how you been" I said while looking at Jordan. "Good, I'm ready for prom to hurry and come" he said smirking at Asia. "Yall so nasty" I said giving both of them the stank face.

"There's nothing wrong with that, you know Leian" Sunny said giving her 2 cents. "I think I know that" I said to Sunny. "Oh you just said it's nasty like you had a problem with that" she said with a smart tone. "It's clear I was just kidding, but you were to busy riding Metrius dick to see that. So don't start with me" I said getting annoyed with her.

The bell rung so I just walked away. I went to my first block, chemistry. We did nothing but book work so I put in my headphones and decided to text Avery so he knows I still wanna go with him.

"Hi Avery this is Leian. I'm the one who made the hashtag and everything to get your attention about going to prom with me. I'm sorry about responding late, my phone has really been blowing up with the hashtag and everything so I had it turned off. But I am still very interested in going to prom with you. This is my number so you can text or call me back." I sent the text. Now I'll I have to do is wait for the reply.
