Caught In The Act

Chapter Three

New update yay lol I decided this will be a short story so it will be over soon.

((~~Third person P.O.V~~))

Naruto finishes work early happy to see Sasuke soon. Today is their third year anniversary and Naruto has decided they should get married. He knows Sasuke is getting bored at home so he also bought a new game system.

Naruto hums as he walks into the flower sgop picking out the vrightes lilys and buys them. Gently and quickly he writes a note to go on it. Today he knew would be a good day.

With a sigh of pure happiness he walks into the ring shop and gets the ring he ordered. It was a beautiful three stoned ring, each stone meaning something special.

The first stone means yesterday. We were together and happier then the day before

The second stone in the center means today. Today we are still together, still happy in our relationship.

The last stone means forever. We are happy now and will be forever. We will never cheat no matter what.

This ring means so much, I just know Sasuke will be happy with it. Naruto runs home ready to see his boyfriend and hopefully soon to be husband.

He puts the key in the hole and opens the door. Despair washing over him as he hears moans coming from the bedroom.

He holds the flowers to his chest and walks into the room saddness washing over him with every passing second.

There on his bed is his boyfriend Sasuke and his friend Lee. He gasps in horror and drops his bouquet of flowers, his note falling on the floor as well. They still dont notice the boy there as they continue their actions.

Narutos electric blue eyes tear up and he cries. He pulls out the ring he had and with all his might he pulled out the last stone.

There is no forever in this relationship and never will be.

He drops the ring on the floor snd watches as the two heads snap in his direction. Naruto doesn't yell. He doesn't argue, no he smiles.

He smiles his sweet innocent smile before pivking up the ring and dusting it off.

"Sasuke...." he says gentle, " today I got off of work early because I had a surprise for you..."

Sasuke looks at the ring in surprise guilt feeling him.

"The first stone meant yesterday..." Naruto said letting his tear fall onto the ring. Sasuke tilt his head confused on were this was going. "The second stone means today.. and the last one meant forever."

Sasukes eyes widen "Naruto, baby what do you mean meant forever? This, this is nothing, we can fix this... just let me fix it okay hunny and we will be fine."

Naruto shakes his head and gently places the ring in Sasukes hand before slowly turning nad leaving. Sasuke looks at Lee and yells at him to leave.

There he sits on the bed he once shared, crying. Soon he gets up and walks over to the flowers smiling as he sees a heart made out of roses and bordering it is white lilys.

With a shaky sigh he picks up the note that rest beside it and read it.

'Just to say I love you never seems to be enough. I've said it so many times, but I'm afraid you don't understand. What i really mena when I say it. How can so much feeling, so much adoration possible fit in those three little words?

But until i find some other way of saying how I feel, 'i love you' will have to do. So how ever many times I say it, don't take it lightly, for you are my life and my only love.

I love you now more then ever before'

Sasuke got up and ran out the house leaving the tear soaked note on the ground.

He spotted Narutos blonde hair and quickly grabbed his upper arm stopping him from crossing the street.

"Let me go teme!" Naruto yelled tears falling from his face as he tugged on his arm trying ti get away.

"No not tell you come back to me I love you!!" Sasuke yelled a pang if guilt from seeing Naruto cry and knowing it was his fault.

"I love you too, but I can never trust you again." Naruto says again and tugs hard for his arm back. Sasukes eyes widen as he watches Naruto fall backwards from the pull.

A car beeps as Naruto falls onto the ground. Before his last second Sasuke swears he see Narutos lips moves. He swears he hears him saying I love you.

But it's too late to say it back because the truck couldn't stop. Naruto couldn't leave. Natuto could've died.

With one last tear Sasuke grabbed Narutos hand and pulled him out of the way. But as he did this he fell forward in the way of the truck.

That day, Sasuke said his last words. He whispered them into Natutos ear as he fell forward.

"I love you too, dobe."
