Chapter 1 The Frisbee

It started as a beautiful July summer day. Jason was waking up and heard his phone go off. He puts his hand on his nightstand reaching for his phone to turn off his alarm and that is when he notices A message from the dating app he recently downloaded.

The message was from a cute girl named Avery Robinson. Her profile says she has brown eyes, long dark brown hair and she is 20 years old. Jason Looks at her profile for a while staring at her picture and thinking to himself how beautiful she really is. He finally replied to her message.

Jason sat there waiting for a reply after 20 minutes he got up and decided to get ready for work. Jason is about 5'4 and doesn't weigh much he has dirty blonde hair and a very skinny body but has muscle in his arms. His eyes are Hazel. He has facial hair and always looks like he has a 5 0 clock shadow.

He jumps in the shower, washes up, and begins to shave his face giving him a clean shave then changes into a dark brown short sleeve shirt and blue jeans that look really worn and are a little too big for him so he puts on a belt..Then brushes his teeth and his medium-length hair. He reaches for his toothbrush and adds some toothpaste to it, wets it, and begins to brush his teeth. Spits then use his mouth to wash and finally flosses his teeth.

He then goes out, starts his old crappy car that takes it 3 tries to start and heads to work. As he is driving he takes a quick look at his phone to see If Avery replied yet and to his disappointment she hasn't messaged him back. He decided to focus hard on his work today and hope she replies soon.

Jason gets to his construction job and heads inside seeing his favorite coworker and friend Andrew Miller. Andrew is a tall Man who stands about 6'2 and has really big arms and can lift just about anything. Along with being tall, he has medium-length Brownish hair.

"How's it going you stuck-up asshole," Jason says to his friend.

Andrew turns towards Jason and smiles and says to Jason "Well it's better to be an asshole with a hot date tonight than a skinny piece of shit like you Jason!"

They both look at each other and begin to laugh.

"What's the workload look like today?" Jason asks

"Well you know the same as always except we had another kid quiet today" sadly Andrew says.

Jason looks at Andrew with an irritated look on his face and sighs and says "That's the third guy who quit this week ugh guess that means it's going to be a long day then Jason says with a grin."

Jason and Andrew begin to walk inside and Andrew says to Jason. "You really need to gain some weight, you really do look like crap."

Jason turns to Andrew and says back "Money is really tight right now and I don't know man ever since I caught Mia with that other guy.I just don't feel hungry and don't really want to do anything sadly."

Andrew stops and Turns towards Jason and Jason stops and looks at Andrew.

"Dude, it's horrible what happened. But you need to move on and take care of yourself more. I know things are hard and you are still hurting hell I'm hurting and I'm not even in that relationship. But you have to move on otherwise it's going to eat you alive. What you need is to find someone new," Andrew said.

Jason looks at Andrew. "I know I do and if it makes you feel any better I signed up on a dating app. 'It's a free one so it's probably going to suck' Jason says with a grin on his face.

Andrew smiles and begins to laugh and begins walking to the door.

"At Least it's something. Has there been anyone that got your attention at all?" Andrew asks.
