Jeremiah Sophia and belly woke up headed to the kitchen where they hear conrad hanging up the phone

"Morning" belly says "you wanna talk about
plan b" Jeremiah asks Conrad "there is no time for plan b jer aunt Julia is already here"he told them "what" they said "she got here yesterday night she's staying at ocean harbor" he said

"You saw her"belly asks "we were in the phone for like 5 seconds" Conrad informed them "she couldn't bother coming to the funereal but hops in the first plane to sell the house" Sophia said pissed

"Why What's the big rush" Jeremiah asks "doesn't matter why this ain't a game this is serious shit just go back to bed and let me deal with it" Conrad said leaving the kitchen

"Asshole" Sophia mumbled leaving the kitchen

"Hey Jeremiah what's up" Sophia asked entering her room "uh the doctor called when you were gone to get the food she said that um they are considering to put my mom on new meds so that must mean the ones she's taking stopped working" Jeremiah explained to her

"Oh but hey they could work okay think positive" Sophia told the boy pulling him into a hug

"Hey sof we are going to find aunt Julia wanna come" Jeremiah asks "yea sure let's go" she said getting up

"So whats our game plan sneak attack, bribe her"belly asked "murder who knows"sophia said popping when AirPod in "uh wow I was thinking charm" Jeremiah told them "sucks that's her and Susannah weren't that close" sophia said

"Hey sophia" Susannah said to the girl "hey Susannah here is your tea" sophia said giving her the tea "how are you and Jeremiah"she asked "um we have been okay just a little more distant but hey we are together 24/7 I would be tired of me as well" sophia said sitting down next to Susannah

"No he isn't tired of you maybe just tired over all he can never be tired of you" she comforted the girl

2 weeks later
"Hey Sophia can we talk" Jeremiah asked the girl who was next to his mom "yea yea sure" Sophia said getting up following Jeremiah

"Um I don't think I can do this am sorry but um you should leave"he told the girl "oh um yea yea okay i will I uh yea um here this is yours bye" Sophia said taking his sweater off  handing it to him

"Hey Susannah am gonna head out" she told her "hey hun I thought you were spending the night" she asked "I-uh" she told her not being able to get her words out sitting next to her trying to catch her breath but couldn't

"Hey hey Sophia breath breath with me okay"Susannah said while the girl cried into her arms "why would he do this he he promised me" Sophia said in tears "I don't know honey I don't know" Sophia had never cried that hard since her dad died

Sophia heard footsteps knowing it was Jeremiah  she got up and said good bye to Susannah

She walked to the door "hey hey Sophia are yo-" Jeremiah asked but the girl left slamming the door

They got to ocean harbors and  knocked on the door

The door opened "aunt Julia Omg uh Conrad told me you were hear I wanted to say hi"Jeremiah said hugging her "Jeremiah and" she said to me and belly "uh Isabel Conklin Laurel conklins daughter one of Susannah's best friend" belly said

"Sophia tucker Jennifer tucker daughter" Sophia said "gosh it's been a while you got my dads eyes" she told Jeremiah "can we talk"he asked

All the sudden Sophia  wasn't listening she doesn't  know why she just knew this woman annoyed her so much

"Listen I have to get back to work in a week I don't have time to pause the sale" she said "oh is this why you couldn't come to the funeral" Sophia asked her "yea you are just like your mother and father they are very very straight forward especially your dad" she said "yea he was very straight forward" Sophia  told her

"Oh I am sorry for your loss" she said "yea okay" Sophia  told her "mom, Jeremiah Sophia" skye  came out "skye i didn't know you were here" Jeremiah said "hey" Sophia said waking down the stairs

The whole car ride was quiet "so what are you guys thinking  bout now" belly asked from the backseat "murder" Sophia  said "well okay but I was an idiot for thinking I can change her mind" Jeremiah said

"You aren't you had to try" Sophia  said interlocking their  hands

But Sophia  wasn't listening to belly's idea she was looking at the soccer team group chat with my other hand
"Ugh" I said quietly thinking nobody heard me

"Bad news?" Jeremiah asked "no just all the stuff we have to bring to soccer camp next week " Sophia told him  "aren't you excited" he asked

"Yea yea but I am just tired right now so am not gonna think about it" Sophia told him putting her phone away "oh okay I didn't know you were gonna do it" belly said

"Yea I know but you know Ashley Taylor's cousin she convinced me" sophia said "oh yea she's staying with Taylor" belly said

Once the 3 teens got back they took the groceries out and saw Conrad coming out all wet "y'all went to the store" he asked

"We actually thought about leaving but decided not to listen to you" belly said while Sophia turned around hiding her laughter

"We didn't only go to the store we actually went to see aunt Julia" Jeremiah informed his brother "how did that go" he asked "not great have you talked to dad yet". He asked

"We are gonna take these inside" Sophia said grabbing Jeremiah bag that was in his hand and walked in with belly to put the stuff away

Something the 4 didn't know is that Taylor, Steven and Ashley were on the way to cousins

"Gosh can you guys stop flirting" Ashley said to the two in the front "we are not flirting" Steven said

We were all sitting down at the dining table while Jeremiah and Conrad talk to there dad I grab Jeremiah hand to comfort him while he took it and squeezed my hand while I rubbed little circles with my thumb
