Pavitr Pov
Our faces were only a couple of inches apart. I could feel his breath and everything felt silenced; the only sound we could hear was the pounding of each other's hearts.
A noise came from the opposite window at the same time. We soon turned our attention to the sound and discovered that Gwen had knocked on the window. As Hobie opened his door to speak with Gwen, I exited and made my way towards Miles and Gaytari.
On my way, I peered out the corner of my eye to see what he and Gwen were up to. My heart was still beating a little from what had happened and what may have happened if Gwen hadn't intervened.
When I arrived to Miles and Gaytari, I told them how incredible that was while disregarding out specifics. We three practically fangirled over how fortunate I was, especially considering I was so thrilled to see him on the drive here. Fortunately, they only knew so much; in the meanwhile, I was overcome with butterflies as we stood back and watched them race till we were worn out.
I didn't get to see Hobie as we headed out, which disappointed me a little, but I let it go.
I put my arm around Gaytari's shoulder as the three of us walked. When we arrived to Miles' car, I opened the door for her to get in and then closed it before going to sit alongside Miles. On the ride home, we spoke about the entire night. When we arrived at Gaytari's house I kissed her goodbye, before heading back in the car. When Miles dropped me off, I said my goodbyes and walked inside.
I changed into more comfortable clothing and sat down on my bed, removing my phone from my pocket. I was scrolling through social media for a while when I noticed Hobie Brown had followed me.
In disbelief, I sprang up so quickly that I covered my mouth and informed Miles that Hobie followed me.
He responded, and he was as surprised as I was. We spoke on the phone, but I hung up when I received a text message.
I had butterflies simply looking at the notification, and I felt my cheeks start to heat up when I clicked on it.
"I see you left without saying goodbye to me, Pavi, that hurt my feelings."
Another message came before I could react.
"Are you free tomorrow night?"
"Yeah, why are you asking?" I responded, feeling like I was going to burst with emotions.
" You'll see; I'll pick you up at 8 p.m. for a surprise." Make yourself appealing for me."

I woke up at 9 a.m. that morning and showered. I went through my usual skin and hair care routine.
After I finished, I collapsed on my bed, exhausted. I couldn't sleep all night because everything seemed so surreal. It still seemed unbelievable to me that Hobie would pick me up later. The more I thought about it, the more I determined that I'd get up and prepare an outfit that would make everyone turn their heads.
After I had chosen my clothes and placed them down on my bed, I walked into the living room and turned on the television.
After a while, I fell asleep on the couch and woke up to the alarm I had set telling me it was time to get ready for the day.
I got up promptly and dressed into the clothing I had planned ahead of time. I put on some jewelry and prayed with cologne. I had just completed putting the last of the details on when I received a message from Hobie saying he was outside.
As I left my apartment, I grabbed my keys, wallet, and phone along with shutting the door behind me. As I came closer to his parked car, all the nerves from earlier reappeared.
I opened the car's door and entered the passenger side. I could feel his gaze moving down my body without saying anything.
