"A social worker?" I ask the woman. "Yes dear. My name is Delilah Addams and, I will be your social worker." she told me "How old are you miss?" I asked. "I'm currently 23 I will be turning 24 next month." she said with a sweet smile. "Advance happy birthday to you, Ms. Delilah!" She looked at me and said "Awh, you're such a sweet child! Thank you." She then looked at my home. "Darling, can you go get your stuff?" She asked and I nodded, staying to head inside.
The short trip towards the basement, which is supposedly my "room", wasn't quite pleasant, unsurprisingly. I slowly twisted the doorknob to my "room", dust immediately covering the path, some swaying as I walk inside the room. The corners were coated in cobwebs, aswell as the ceiling, and the walls? At this rate, I'd rather die than ever touch those repulsive walls.
I go to a corner and get an old duffle bag, and I go to my "bed" but it doesn't look like a bed it only looks like a worn out rug. I start packing 3 of my hoodies well, they're not mine but I don't care. I get 4 sweatpants and a pair of jeans, if you're wondering, I only have 1 pair of jeans and Mr. Panda.
After I pack, I head outside. Pausing for a moment and immediately rushing back inside after my mind recalled what I had forgotten. I forgot my ring. Yes, I have a ring, its a friendship ring I got from Ace. We would always wear our rings and never take it off, even though he's gone, I would still continue to wear it since it carries countless of beautiful memories that we shared together back then when he was still here. I miss him, to be honest. I wanted him to be here, stay by my side forever. But often times, life catches you by surprise, don't they?
After I get the ring I go outside and find Miss Delilah I see her talking with the other officers "Excuse me" I see Miss Delilah turn to me "Yes dear are you done packing your stuff?" I looked at her and nodded "yes I have all my things" she looks at me then my bag "shall we go to the station now?" She asks me while I just nod.
Minutes later we arrived at the police station and I was brought into a little room with a bed "you can stay here I'll come get you later" share says to me and I nod "I'll go now" she says as she walks out of the room i looked around it was a pretty decent room I looked to see that there was a chair where is could put my bag.
