The clock had struck 1 AM, yet Yn remained awake, her eyes fixed on the door. Mr. Kim had long retired to his room, but she couldn’t bring herself to sleep—not without seeing Taehyung. The weight of waiting melted away the moment the doorbell rang. She rushed to open it, her face instantly lighting up with a welcoming smile.

Taehyung’s tired yet glowing face greeted her. "Yn, you’re still awake?" he asked, surprised.

She nodded, her voice soft yet firm. "How could I sleep? I was waiting for you."

A smile tugged at his lips, his exhaustion momentarily forgotten. "Thank you," he murmured.

Her gaze flickered over his face, taking in the joy hidden beneath his tiredness. "That smile… It means you got the deal, didn’t you?"

His grin widened. "Yes! I got the deal, and I’m really happy. We’re going to have a success party soon." His eyes softened as he stepped closer. "But honestly, the reason behind this smile is you."

She blinked. "Me?"

He nodded. "After such a long, exhausting day, I came home to be welcomed by the most beautiful smile in the world."

A soft chuckle escaped her lips, making his heart swell.

Then, with a sudden whine, he pouted. "Yn-ahhh, I’m so tired."

She bit back a smile at his cuteness. "Then let’s have dinner quickly and go to bed, hmm?"

They shared a quiet, late-night dinner before retreating to their bedroom.

A Moment of Comfort

Yn sat at her desk, typing away on her laptop while Taehyung lay on the bed, sprawled out yet restless. He watched her for a while before speaking.

"You said you were tired," she pointed out without looking up. "Why aren’t you sleeping? Do you need something?"

"Yes," he replied, voice deep yet playful. "You."

She paused, blinking at his words. "What?"

Before she could react, he slipped off the bed and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her from behind. His warmth seeped into her, making her momentarily forget the work in front of her.

"Yn, it’s already so late, and I’m exhausted," he whined, burying his face in her shoulder. "Can’t you come to bed now, please?"

She sighed, amused yet reluctant. "Taehyung, this is important. But don’t worry, I’ll be done soon. Just a few more minutes, okay?"

Pouting, he let go and trudged back to bed without another word.

A soft chuckle escaped her as she glanced at him. His eyes were closed, but the slight crease in his brows told her he wasn’t fully asleep.

Moments later, as if sensing her gaze, he turned and felt a gentle caress against his hair. He immediately wrapped his arms around her, pulling her onto the bed in a tight hug, his lips humming softly against her skin.

Yn smiled, brushing her fingers through his soft locks. "You really are a baby, Tae," she whispered, her voice laced with fondness. "My cutie baby."

His only response was a satisfied hum as he nuzzled into her warmth. Soon, his breathing evened out, and she found herself drifting into slumber as well.

A Lazy Sunday Morning

Sunlight filtered through the curtains as Yn stirred awake. Or at least, she tried to—until she realized she was trapped.

Taehyung’s legs were draped over hers, his arms secured around her waist as if refusing to let go. She glanced up, finding him still lost in sleep, his face relaxed and peaceful.

A soft smile touched her lips. "He really is a small baby," she murmured, gently brushing her fingers over his cheek.

After a few more moments of admiring his sleeping form, she carefully freed herself and got up, completing her morning routine before heading downstairs. Since it was Sunday, she decided to let him sleep in.

A Song That Binds Them

By noon, Yn was in the library, a book in hand. But soon, her eyes landed on something tucked in the corner—a guitar.

A familiar warmth spread through her chest. She loved playing and singing, and it had been a while since she last did. Picking it up, she let her fingers glide over the strings, the melody flowing effortlessly. Her voice followed, filling the quiet space with a song close to her heart.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was in the living room, flipping through channels on the TV when a soft tune caught his ear. He frowned slightly, standing up.

"Is that… Yn?"

Following the sound, he made his way to the library, stopping at the doorway.

There she was—lost in music, her fingers dancing over the strings, her voice carrying emotions he didn’t need to understand to feel. The way she looked in that moment, her expression serene, her beauty amplified by the passion in her voice—it left him utterly mesmerized.

As the last note faded, he finally spoke. "You’re amazing."

Yn startled slightly before looking up. "Oh, Taehyung, come in."

He walked over and sat beside her. "I didn’t know you played."

She smiled, glancing at the guitar. "I saw this here, so I thought I’d play. Is it yours?"

He nodded. "Yeah, my dad gifted it to me." His eyes softened. "What were you singing? Please continue."

A hesitant smile played on her lips. "You won’t understand the lyrics. It’s a Bollywood song."

He smirked. "Music doesn’t need a language, Yn."

Her heart skipped a beat at his words. With a small nod, she adjusted the guitar and started singing again, her voice weaving magic in the air.

And this time, Taehyung didn’t just listen—he felt every word, even if he didn’t understand them. Because at that moment, all he knew was that he never wanted her to stop singing for him.
