The Unlikely Love of Saiki K

Chapter 2

After a long night of turning in my sleep I finally reached the day. I had bags under my eyes, but that didn't matter. All I had to do was get through this day nuisance free. On my way to school I run into Nendou, Kaidou, and Kuboyasu. This day is already trouble. 

"HEY BUD!" Nendou says when he spots me. I walk over to them knowing they won't stop pestering me.

'Hello.'

"Hey Saiki" Kaidou and Kuboyasu both say.

"Well- We have something to tell everyone." Kaidou says. This got little of my attention.

"I- um I'm bi!" Kaidou says.

"And I'm pan." Kuboyasu adds.

"And we're dating!" Kaidou says nervously. 

"Cool! My buds are dating!" Nendou says.

'Doesn't matter to me' A sigh of relief comes from both of them.

"While we're on the topic!"  Nendou says, this got people's attention.

"I'm gay! And I'm dating Hairo!" This shocked everyone but me. I knew already, I had to overhear them talking about it.

"How could I not have known! Now that I think about it it's obvious!" Kaidou groaned.

"I agree" Kuboyasu says.

'Okay, also, I'm ace, trans, and gay' I 'say' with a straight face.

'I'm not dating anyone.' I wish I was though. The couple had their jaws dropped.

"Nice!" Nendou says, breaking the short silence.

'I never could've guessed!' The couple thoughts say together.

"Wait do you have a crush~?" Kaidou says teasing me. I jump back a bit and blush a bit. I calm myself down and continue my cold, cool face.

'No. And even if I do I wouldn't tell you anyway'

"Oh come on! You definitely have one!" Kaidou continues as -he rams his head into a metal bar but one could only wish-  we reach school. I quickly separated myself from that awkward group. At the main entrance I see Satou ♥️ - wait did I just say his name with a heart?! Wow. Love is weird. I walked up to him.

"Are we still on for that cafe?" I ask nervously. Which is- if you didn't know REALLY weird for me.

"Of course I would never forget! I have to go now! See you later!" He says with a smile so pretty if I was normal I would've fainted.

"Bye!" I get out. I sigh and turn to see-

Satou POV:

I reach the bathroom, I get in the stall and I'm a hot mess. I love to talk to Saiki but- I get so nervous! And he must notice right? His perfect features!  His gorgeous pink hair and beautiful purple eyes! The pink and green he wears match so well! Oh my god I'm in love. I suspected it before- but I never felt this way! And- and our date! Wait. It's not a date, just a friend's date.... I wonder how he feels about me.. Probably not the same. I just wish I could spend more time with him! I sigh and take deep breaths. I wonder what we will do on our date! We might-

"Hello is anybody in there?" I hear one of my friends yell.

"Yeah! Sorry!" I say getting out my stall and washing my hands.

"You were in there for a while! Are you okay?" My friend with the glasses asks.

"Oh! I was just in deep thought." I say.

"Welp! Time to get to class." We head to class together as we pass Saiki's class, I glance in to see him talking with a girl? Who is she?

Saiki's POV:

'What do you want Mikoto?' I look at her and notice her jaw is dropped.

"You spoke. The Kusuo Saiki SPOKE. Wow just wow." She said in astonishment.

'So?'

"I knew people could fall far in love, but THIS is a lot" She says. I blush a bit.

'What did you want?'

"I just want to talk to you about something back at the classroom."

'Whatever, lets go'

"First we have to pick up the perv." We walk to the cafeteria and find the perv 'flirting' with some girls. Mikoto walks over to him and brags him by the back of the collar.

"Come on perv lets go" She says.

"Oh come on! I was just getting my game on!" He replies.

'Don't say that. It sounds weird'

"Anyway~ guess what happened!" Mikoto says a bit too loud for my liking.

"What now" The purple haired perv asks.

"Saiki- The Saiki K, SPOKE" Mikoto says still too loud.

'Keep it down'

"Sorryy"

"So?? He speaks all the time." At this time we are already at my desk in the classroom.

"Stupid!  You forget that he speaks with his powers to people!" She says whisper yelling.

"Ohhhhh. Cool"

"You Idiot!" I tune out of that chaoticness and turn my head to look out of the window leading to the hallway. I start zoning out as I watch the people pass when I see him.
