jeongin had a good sleep that night. that was the first time in a while.

once he stretched and got out of bed, which mind you, was a good twenty minutes later, he looked at his phone and noticed a notification that stood out from the others.

'hyunjin? why's he messaging me?' the blonde thought as he opened the message.

jeongin smiled at his phone. he hadn't had breakfast with someone for ages, so he was happy with this. especially how he was gonna eat breakfast with his neighbor, which he befriended yesterday, and also found hot.

he put on some clothes and took his keys as he left his apartment, walking over to hyunjin's after locking his door.

the fox-like boy rang the doorbell, waiting for hyunjin to open the door. which after a few seconds, he did.

"that was fast." the younger said as he bowed slightly and came in after the brunette had let him. "i wouldn't want to keep you waiting, jeongin." hyunjin answered, smiling as he showed the smaller boy the way to the living room so they could sit and chat as they ate breakfast.

"i made pancakes while waiting for you to come over. maybe someday we could bake together, if you want." the brunette said, taking the tray of pancakes as he put them down on the table where jeongin was sitting at. "thank you so much hyung! and of course, just tell me what time i could come." jeongin answered as he took a pancake and started eating.

"aw hyunjin, is that the boy you were blushing over yesterday?" a voice shouted, clearly sounding half asleep as both boys shot their heads up to see who was talking. it was a short black haired male, who jeongin thought was pretty. "s-shut up jisung." the oldest of the three said as he nudged the ravenette, his ears reddening as he took some glances at jeongin.

"i can't lie, you've got taste. he's really adorable." jisung said as he squished the younger's cheeks, said male blushing in embarrassment. "i'm jeongin..you are?" he asked, looking up from his seat. "i'm jisung! your boyfriend's best frie-" the short male got cut off by a pillow being thrown at his face. the pillow very obviously belonged to hyunjin. "i'm sorry, please ignore him jeongin. he can be a bit weird." the taller sighed as he apologized to jeongin, the younger male smiling. "it's alright, no worries."

an hour passed and the two boys were still chatting, now both alone as the couple went out for lunch together.

"so..you're in a band right?" jeongin asked, looking up as he made eye contact with hyunjin. "yeah, with three of my friends. two of them live here with me, you've met them both. the third one's name is felix, he lives with one of his friends though." the older of the two answered him before adding, "i think his name was chan?"

"chan? as in bang chan?" the smaller boy asked curiously, as he knew someone who had a similar name. "yes, bang chan- at least i think." hyunjin said as he raised an eyebrow, "do you know him?"

"yeah, we used to be classmates before i moved here." the younger said with a smile as hyunjin nodded.

it was safe to say the two boys spent their day together in hyunjin's house. when jeongin was about to leave, minho and jisung came back and the three properly introduced themselves to each other.

the youngest then left about an hour later, heading to his apartment.

11:27 pm.

jeongin smiled as he put his phone back on the nightstand, wrapping himself in his blanket.

'i hope i spend tomorrow with hyunjin too. today was fun.'
