A Spider's Revenge

Chapter 2

Knock Out arrived at Blackarachnia's house and found the spider femme on the floor and started tending to her injuries as the others arrived, his medical training having kicked in.

"What happened?" Asked Ratchet who started helping Knock Out treat the injured femme.

"Airachnid's twin brother Poison Fang attacked us and took Starscream!" Blackarachnia explained still in fits and worried about the seeker.

"Don't worry we'll find him." Arcee tried to help comfort her friend.

Seeing that Ratchet had it under control Knock Out rushed out the door and ran off into the cybertronian forest that was near Blackarachnia's home and started desperately looking and calling out for his brother knowing that Airachnid had killed his best friend during the war and if her brother was as bad as she was Starscream was in serious danger.

"Starscream!" Knock Out kept yelling at the top of his voice box hoping for an answer and then started trying his com-link. "Starscream please respond!"

But all he got on the com-link was static, The red medic punched the ground in frustration after slumping to his knees feeling hopeless.

"Knock Out!" Called Arcee who had just caught up to the red spots car. "It's dangerous rushing off by yourself with Airachnid's psychopath brother running around."

"There's no telling what he's done or is doing to Starscream, I don't want my brother to end up like my best friend!" Knock Out replied barely able to keep the panic out of his voice.

Arcee put a servo on the red medic's shoulder understanding what he was going through having lost two partners and having once thought she'd lost Knock Out when he and Starscream had been forced to fake his death after Airachnid had tried to have him killed.

"I'll help you look for him." The two wheeler agreed knowing Knock Out didn't want to leave anything unchecked and she didn't want the Aston Martin to be without backup in case Poison Fang was still in the area.

Just when the two were about to head back they heard a low moan and saw Starscream laying face down near some trees.

They both rushed to the seeker, And Knock Out jumped into action when he saw what shape his brother was in, Starscream was covered in dents, cuts and cracks and acid burns were all over his back and Knock Out could tell he was also very sick.

But most disturbingly his wings were no longer on his back and we're nowhere to be seen and the seeker was unresponsive other then just moaning in agony every few minutes.

"This is Arcee we found Starscream and he's in bad shape send paramedics he needs medical attention and to get to the hospital right away!" Arcee quickly called the others and explained the situation.

"Starscream please hold on!" Knock Out told his brother, As he worked to keep him online till the paramedics could arrive to transport him to the hospital. "You survived the war and countless beatings from Megatron, And even being alone on Earth without a T-cog when you went rouge, You can beat this you have too!"

Arcee petting Knock Out on the shoulder to comfort him knowing what he was feeling.

Then the paramedics arrived and got the badly injured seeker onto a stretcher and through the ground bridge to the hospital where they rushed him back and got to work trying to save him, Knock Out never left his brothers side.

A few hours later Ratchet came out and the rest of the Autobots including Bumblebee and his team who had just arrived on Cybertron for their visit in time to hear what had happened to Starscream and were worried even Megatron had shown up to make sure Starscream was ok all rushed over to hear what Ratchet had to say.

"He suffered some serious damage, He had a helm injury, (basically the cybertronian equivalent of a concussion.) He lost a lot of energon and had some really bad acid burns on his back, his wings are unaccounted for and he's been poisoned with mech venom, Which we are working on making an antidote for but we need a sample of the mech venom to make it." Ratchet explained.

"So Starscream is going to die if we can't get that sample?" Asked Sideswipe.

"We currently have him hooked to equipment that's keeping him stable if we can't make the antidote he'll be hooked up to it and in a coma for the rest of his life because it's the only thing keeping him alive right now." Ratchet told them all sadly.

"I'll make Poison Fang pay for what he's done." Megatron hissed too low for anyone else to hear, Expect for Optimus Prime who decided he better keep an optic on the old former warlord to make sure he didn't do anything stupid letting his anger at Starscream's condition blind him.

Meanwhile Knock Out was next to Starscream's hospital berth wanting to keep watch over his brother to make sure Poison Fang didn't try to attack him again while he was in the hospital or that his condition didn't get worse.

Knock Out suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder and saw that it was Steve who had come in with several other Vehicons most of them had served as Starscream's seeker armada during the war they all had wings and were sporting silver paint jobs.

"Hi." Knock Out greeted them quickly whipping away coolant tears he didn't even realize he had been crying.

"We're all worried about Starscream too." Steve explained handing Knock Out an energon cube knowing the red medic would need to keep his strength up.

"We'll all take turns standing guard in the hallway around this room to make sure nothing happens to lord Starscream." The Vehicon added. "And if you need anything don't hesitate to call us."

"Thank you." Knock Out told them feeling touched.

"Anytime you, Starscream and Breakdown were the only ones who treated us like regular bots during the war." Steve replied.

Just then they all heard a scream from out in the hallway and all ran out to see what was going on except for three of the Vehicons who stayed to guard Starscream.

"That sounded like it came from the front desk!" Knock Out exclaimed as they rushed to find out what happened.

When they made it to the front desk they saw Velocity who was trying to calm down Minerva who was freaking out over something she found on the desk as Ratchet and the rest of the Autobots rushed in having also heard Minerva scream.

Knock Out whet to the front desk and froze when he saw his brother's wings on it that were damaged from acid and had a message scratched onto them that read.

"Dear Autobots."

"My name Poison Fang I was a prisoner on the Alchemor who escaped when it crashed, I was planning to find and meet up with my twin sister Airachnid but when I finally managed to trace her spark signature I followed it to your scrapyard on Earth and arrived just in time to see my sister get killed, Now I'm going to avenge her by killing not only those responsible for her death but all her enemies and everyone close to them, And Starscream will not be my last victim because I'm coming after all of you one by one to make you all suffer why else would I use the space bridge to follow you all back to Cybertron?"

"Poison Fang." Knock Out finished reading in a shaky voice terrified and upset by the whole situation.

"Oh scrap!" Everyone said at once and Bumblebee sent Strongarm and Sideswipe to the space bridge to go back to Earth to make sure all the humans were safe in case Poison Fang decided to go back to Earth after them.

Then Optimus noticed Megatron had left the hospital and went to look for the former Decepticon leader hoping he could stop him before he did something rash and ended up getting himself killed.
