"Y/n! Your letter from Windsor College came in!" Your aunt says. You rush downstairs and immediately call Stu. You grabbed the letter and sat down, waiting for his arrival. You hear a knock on the door.

"Y/n! Did you get it? I got mine!!!" Stu says. You jump up excitedly and open the door.

"Yes! Come on!" You say. He eagerly comes in the house. It's drastically changed since he saw it last almost a year ago. The style was a lot more colorful and funky, different from your mother's melancholy vibe. Your aunt worked as and art teacher at the nearby elementary school, and she'd never let you forget it. Stu looks around. He hasn't really been inside since the day Billy swore to stop talking to you.

"Welcome to the trash house."

(Billy's POV)

"You should leave." Y/n says, and she closes the fridge door. Billy knew that Y/n had been holding back tears. He reached out for her but she didn't react. He retracted his hand and stares at her. Y/n. The girl who let him kill her friends and her own mother. She not only let him, she told him she loved him.

"I'm sorry." He says. Then he turns on his heels and left, Stu following him out.

"Billy..." Stu chases him down the street. Billy whips around. You could see the pure horror in his eyes. He can't lose you.

"I can't speak to her anymore." He says. Stu looks at him.

"Excuse me, what?" Billy looks like he wants to punch him. He sighs, running his hands through his hair.

"I can't talk to her anymore. I'll just hurt her more."

"But she confessed her love...?"

"No- okay, yes but she hates me. You can see it in her eyes." Stu shakes his head, disagreeing.

"I can't see anything but her being tired and sad."

"Because we killed her mother." Stu tilts his head to the side.

"She was going to leave you." Billy looks down.

"It's not your decision." That was what Billy thought ended the conversation. Billy longed to hold you but knew he needed to stop talking to you.

"Give her time. Her whole friend group and what was left of her family just died. She only has us and her trashy aunt." Billy shoots his head up.

"You even know more about her than I do." Billy stares. Grumbling, he leaves down the street.

Two months later

You walk into the video store. It was weird without Randy there, bugging you while you were trying to shop. You just had to find your aunt's stupid aerobics video. You hated her, promising yourself to save up enough money to leave her in Woodsboro. Out of the corner of your eye, you see Stu and Billy. Flashbacks of when you saw them here the evening of the massacre. Stu's eyes widen when he spots you, causing Billy to turn around, see you, and, walk very quickly into the next aisle. You frown. He's been avoiding you for two months now. You walk up to the counter. A teenager stands there, on the phone.

"No, Charlie, I haven't left work yet. I'll let you know when I'm coming." She notices you, eyes widening in excitement and surprise. "No way. I gotta go, Char. Final girl is here." You cringe at the nickname given to you by your peers. She quickly hangs up and looks you dead in the eyes.

"I'm just here to pick up something under Janet L/n." She ignores you and looks behind you, eyes widening even more, if that was possible. You turn around and see Stu egging on Billy to go talk to you. They notice and Billy immediately flies behind the shelf again. You sigh, turning back around.

"Triple score. The whole gang is here." The girl mutters under her breath. You read her name tag.

Bethany.

"Bethany. I'm just trying to pick up the stupid video. Please." You ask her. She looks at you again.

"Macher's coming over here." She says and leaves. Rolling your eyes, you see Stu right behind you. You guys weren't on bad terms. You just didn't talk that much. He was mostly with Billy and whenever you came over to them, Billy left in a hurry.

"Hey." He says, scratching the back of his neck.

"Hi." You clear your throat, shifting your weight to your left leg.

"Um.... How are you doing?" He asks. You turn, Bethany left the area. You look around. She's no where in sight.

"Fine. As good as you can be when someone is ignoring you after he kills your family and friends, but that's okay." Your tone was bitter and sad. Stu looks down. Out of the corner of your eye, you see Billy looking at you. You scoff slightly. Stu notices this.

"I'm sorry. I was wondering if you wanted to hangout sometime?" He asks. You smile.

"Sure." Billy looks like he's debating walking over, taking steps back and forth. "I gotta go." You tell him suddenly. Stu begins to say something, but you rush out. Fuck Janet's workout.

(Stu's POV)

Stu walks back to Billy.

"That went horribly." He says. Billy nods, watching you speed walk away, not bothering to get the video.

"Dammit!" Billy shouts, kicking the shelf. Books fall of and people look at him, shocked.

Present
(Y/n's POV)

You and Stu sat at the kitchen table, letters in hand.

"Where's Janet?" Stu asks. You roll your eyes.

"Probably off fucking some hippie. I really don't care." You lean back and clear your throat, changing the subject. "Let's open them." Stu nods excitedly. You rip open your letter.

Dear Miss Y/n L/n,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Windsor college under scholarship...

That's all you needed to hear. You jump out of your seat and rush over to lean over Stu's shoulder. You read that he was also accepted. You hug him. Finally. You'll have a friend.
