'Oh god what's behind the curtains who is it- shit it might come eat me or some shit and like strangle me to death or something' Manuel's inner thoughts raced at this point and even he was scared but Maddy was genuinely hiding under the covers from whatever she believed was lurking under the doorway.

A few hours later they both settled down and were face to face laying down, at this point they were both admiring each other without speaking not by choice but just because no words were needed for this moment. Manuel was staring at Maddy's delicate features and how beautiful she was without makeup or any thing else but also he was finding it hard to believe she thought she needed makeup in order to leave the house. Her insecurities were his pain as he never saw any, it riddled his mind constantly how she couldn't see the beauty he saw, how lucky he was to see the real Madeleine Perez the girl who was scared of caterpillars the girl who only ate her tacos drenched in hot sauce but most of all the girl who appreciated pure love like no other.

Maddy was thinking about how pure her boyfriend is how he remembers the most stupid thing like how the cocoa butter Vaseline was her favourite and how he kisses her forehead when he thinks she's sleeping. "Baby you're not what I wanted, you're what I needed" she said smiling at him. He then kissed where her dimple lays on her face and they called it a night not too long after.

Cassie Howard- oh how could we forget about this blonde bombshell. Well at this moment she's swiping through Maddy's instagram and observing the way she dresses and the techniques used to perfect her makeup. She spent all night trying to duplicate what she saw and as much as I hate to say it she damn well did a good job. In her mind she knows a guy like Manuel will never go for her she knows her "best friend" is his type and she knows if she recreates that there's almost a sliver of hope he may glimpse at her or maybe even stare if she's lucky.

"Cass why the fuck are you awake it's- it's 5:32" Lexi said groggily as she yawned "I'm minding my own business so you stay out of it" Cassie replied whilst she rolled her eyes "yeah that fucking blow dryer isn't minding its own business" she said before she laid back down using a pillow to cover her head and drown the noise out"
"Morning sugar" Suze said happily as both girls walked down the stairs "Morning mom" both girls said simultaneously "pancakes today" she declared as she slid over a few blueberry pancakes for Cassie and then a few more chocolate chip pancakes for Lexi the pair ate their food before heading to school.

Manuel arrived late to school as he had to run a few "errands" before getting to school. He entered his history class, Maddy was sat near BB and the only free space in the class was besides Cassie he was instructed to sit there so he did. Cassie on the other hand took this as him flirting with her so she did all she could to speak to him.
"Hey manny how you doing?" She asked "you know just the usual, what bout you?" He replied to his surprise she started laughing and almost throwing herself onto him and of course Maddy saw this interaction... the thing is what is she going to do about it
