Time: After the sleepover

Next ch will talk about it hopefully...

-Third person POV-

It was a Friday, and the short boy had been looking forward to the end of the week ever since Monday had arrived. Despite his impatience for the day to come, he wasn't nearly as excited as you'd think. He got dressed lazily, walking across the cold tile floors. His hair was a mess, more so than usual. He'd been up all night, lost in his own thoughts. Nothing had happened in particular. He just got this way sometimes, when he'd question things. He'd question why he fell in love with his best friend, and why Lia hated him so much. He'd question why he was so damned loud and annoying and why he could never sit and shut up. He wanted nothing else than to be able to fit in, but with his height and scraggly green hair? There was no chance... Or is there?..

He stepped out of his front door, a sigh of relief and sadness left him as he began to walk to the bus. He'd usually pull his phone out to text Liam or the group chat, but he had no motivation to silence was his only company. Before he'd even got out of bed, he already knew the day would be a shitty one.

With the Ø🅻ĐĘꞦ ፑē୧ท៹ teasing him, especially. He'd been trying to ignore them, but it had been getting worse and worse... Harder to hide from Jake, Drew and Liam,(The jomies) as well. The bus ride was a short one, thankfully, the lettuce teen arrived at the school in little to no time at all. He was happy, not sure how much longer he could be quiet about the teasing. Soon he could see his friends in the further distance, giggling . . .

As he moved closer and closer, He tried to smile, knowing it'd be suspicious if he didn't. He gathered up most of his courage, before he was close enough to be seen. "Hey guys!" His voice was cheery, taking one of his hands from his pockets and waving when he stopped, His feet planted into the ground. Drew looked up from his phone and waved slightly, Jake waving in return as well.

They saw nothing wrong with their friend. Liam, however, felt something was.. off. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but getting a close look at Henry? It was almost as if he'd been crying. He shook these thoughts away, thinking that it was his mind playing tricks on him before smiling back. "Hey, Man." Henry noticed the flash of worry in Liam's face, but assuming it was due to something else. Taking notice of the silence, Henry opened his mouth to speak, but was soon interrupted by a shove. He was knocked into Liam, grabbing his shoulders to keep his balance.  when he realized who it was . . . . ?
