THE HIDDEN WORLD

The Doorway

Everyone to me was boring, including myself. To me, the world was like card board - bland and gross. It was the year 3089, the world almost destroyed by humans, and most animals extinct.

It is such a horrible place to live, some poeple are different though. When I first met her she seemed happy, she was like a fairy tale in a horror movie, the moon in the night.

I'd always ask her why she was so happy, though after a while I stopped expecting an answer. Sometimes I would ask her at school, but if I did she tended to run off and no one saw her for the rest of the day. She had no parents or guardians to contact therfore she was hard to dicipline for not attending lessons. One day I decided that I wanted to know where she disappeared to all the time so I asked her once again, but this time I followed her. She ran out of the school, down main street and into an ally way. She abruptly and turned around. I quickly jumped behind a dumpster. Luckily she didn't notice me. She turned back around and muttered something unintelligible, suddely a huge blast of air rushed towards me. A bright light filled the ally almost blinding me, I peeked around the bin and saw a door thatseemed to have come out of no where. I mean, obviously there was one there before, but the door looked like pure blue energy with yellow bleeding around the edges, it was only when she started walking toward it that I finally snapped out of my dazed stupor. Not wanting to lose track of her, I ran into it aswell. Thats when my whole perspective changed. My perspective of the world, or rather, worlds.

My name is charley tempez but my friends call me Temp i was sort for my age I was 17 with black hair, blue eyes and tanish skin,
The girl I was following was sharn, she was slightly taller than me and her hair was dyed bright pink and her eyes were the most perfect purple, she was so beautiful. Her skin was pale and smart, I could go on and on but I cant.
I was following sharn step by step I was scared but i felt safer when I looked back up to sharn it was like we were walking through pure magic.
The same door oppened up in front of sharn, when she saw it she started running so I was forced, from the thought of being stuck here i pushed through the blue light to be welcomed by a beutiful beach with more people running around and splashing in the water.
"Sharn i didnt know you were going to bring another person" whispered a girl to Sharn, Sharn's head whipped back toward me.
For the second time today I was terrified Sharn's eyes looked like she was going to kill me but, suprisengly she didn't.

She just stared. The other girl asked me if I knew anything about this place

I politely said "um no, I wouldn't of dreamed this up in my deepest deams"

the girl walk toward me and said "this place is your dreams and mine and everyones here! This place is what everyone dream."

Stunned, I colapes all I than saw was the sun slowely becoming darker and darker until. It was like night.

The first thing I felt was the pounding feeling in my head, my vision was bured and my body was cold and brittel.

"Charley wake up, time for school" my step mum's voice screeched over my throbbing heart.

I slowley get up and relise im still in my school uniform, it must of been a dream, the perfect world was sadley, a dream. I drag my legs into my bathroom and put on deoderant, i walked down stairs

"what time did you get home" my step mum softly said

, my step mum is like my mum realy, my real mum died when I was only 2 and 6 years later my dad married crystal, my step mum than at the age of 12 my dad died in a car crash and when he did crystal and i realy become close we only had each other. She was very much like my dad but a woman. (Back to the story)

"um I dont realy know" I whispered

"holy crap you must of been waisted dude"laughing crystal

"thanks for your consern mum"my eyes widen as I relise I called her mum that was the first time since dad died

crystal smiled and whispered "its all good kiddo"

"going to school, ok?" I said

"what ever" whispered crystal.

The walk to school was normal but what bugged me was how I got home I dont even remember talking to my friends about going out.
But the thought soon left me when I saw my school as usual the sky brown littel cars driving by because the shortage of fuel and constant cough from people walking by. I always would wear a mask around my mouth so i dont cough. I than saw sharn and as usual i asked why she was so happy..

she replyed "Dont you remember yesterday?"

"No?" I said conserend

"remember the portal and the perfect world?"she whispered

making sure no one herd, my eyes widdened as I realised

"so you do!" Sharn said faintly.

She than grabbed my arm and we ran down to the same ally way. She touched the wall and whispered allo-way-exitè, A bright dot apeared ont the wall than a huge body of wind gushed past us exploding litter onto the road behind us, soon the blue door of pure energy appeared again this time green energy streaming from it. We soon started walking into the light.
