Sewing-Chapter two

As I got closer and closer to the door, I could hear music getting louder and louder. As I walked down the stairs, I could see how the basement to the Tozier house had changed over the past 2 months. Richie has talked about how he was gonna get the whole basement, but i didn't think it would look like this only 2 months later. He turned the space near the door into a living room. A tv sat on one end and couch on the other, next to the couch was a recliner. A coffee table sat in the middle. In another corner, it looked like a sewing space. Probably for his mother. There are posters all over the walls, from bands Richie liked to movie and tv show posters.

As I was observing different things about the basement, Richie came out of a room I assume to be his bedroom. Following behind him was a small pitbull puppy. The puppy was gray with white at the paws.

"Hey ed's, what are you doing here?" Richie asked, as he walked up to me.

"You invited me to hang out with you last tuesday, i tried calling and texting you but you wouldnt answer." i answered.

"Oh, shit yeah, totally forgot about that, ive been distracted lately, i started sewing, im actually making a quilt right now"he explained, pointing to the small sewing space."Plus i got a new puppy" he said bending down and grabbing the puppy."her name is choco." he put her up to me and she started to sniff me.i took her from richie. She is so god damn cute.

"You sew?" I question after his answer registers in my head. I put choco down and walk to the little sewing space. Richie and follows me.

"Yeah, its only been a month or two of sewing, but my grandma got me into it, i was over at her house one day, helping around, and she showed me how to sew, i fell in love with it after i made my first block."he beamed. He was smiling from ear to ear. He looked so cute, he showed me the quilt he was working on, the pattern of it, and the material he was using for it. I noticed the colors of it were all my favorites. Green and Purple.

"Its really pretty so far.i really like the color combination rich." i smile.

"Thanks. So Ed's, you wanna watch a movie?" he asked, turning off the music, and walking to the living room space.

"Sure, what kind of movie though?" I questioned.

"I was thinking either a romcom, or a thriller." he replied.

"Oo, if we do romcom we should watch 10 things i hate about you." i say while sitting down on the couch. Choco was in the chair next to the couch, and as soon as we both sat down, she came and jumped up on the couch.

"Ive never even seen that movie." he confessed.

"How the hell have you never seen that movie. We have to watch it now." I exclaimed.

(sorry about the weird chapter names lol, i just cant come up with good chapter name ideas.)
