Jungkook stood in front of the bedroom window, gazing at the twinkling city lights that stretched out beneath the night sky. The quiet hum of the city was a soothing backdrop to his turbulent thoughts.
Suddenly, the door creaked open. Jungkook turned around and saw Taehyung standing there, eyes filled with a sadness that tugged at his heart. Without a word, Taehyung walked over to him, wrapping his arms around Jungkook and burying his face in the crook of Jungkook’s neck. The embrace was tight, desperate, as if Taehyung was trying to convey a thousand unspoken apologies through his touch.
“I’m really sorry, darling,” Taehyung murmured, his voice muffled against Jungkook’s skin. “I’m really sorry for everything. Believe me, there’s nothing between me and Liya. I—”
Before he could finish, Jungkook silenced him with a gentle kiss. It was slow and tender, a kiss meant to reassure and comfort. Taehyung melted into it, responding with the same intensity. The kiss spoke of forgiveness and love, a silent promise that they were in this together.
After a few long moments, they pulled apart, their foreheads resting against each other. Jungkook smiled softly, his eyes shining with understanding and affection. “There’s no need to give any explanation, Tae.”
“But, darling—”
“Shhh...” Jungkook placed his index finger on Taehyung’s lips, silencing him. He wrapped Taehyung’s arms around his waist and draped his own around Taehyung’s neck. “Tae, when you told her to say whatever she wanted in front of me, that was enough for me to trust you. I understand. We all have pasts. What matters is the present, and right now, you’re with me. That’s all I care about.”
Taehyung reached out, cupping Jungkook’s face in his hands. “Darling, you are my present and my future. Liya was a part of my past, and that’s where she will stay. You’re the one who makes me feel alive, who fills my life with color and joy.”
“Thank you so much for coming into my life, darling,” Taehyung whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
“Now stop this thank you session, Mr. Kim, and let’s make something to eat. I’m hungry,” Jungkook said in a playful, yet sincere tone.
“Sure, Mrs. Kim. Come on, let’s go,” Taehyung replied, a smile breaking through the tension on his face.
As Taehyung moved toward the door, Jungkook grabbed his wrist and pulled him back for another kiss. This one was deeper, filled with a renewed sense of love and commitment. They smiled against each other’s lips, savoring the moment.
When they finally broke apart, they spoke in unison, “I love you.”
Taehyung’s eyes softened as he looked at Jungkook. “Let’s start our life from the beginning.”
Jungkook nodded, his eyes sparkling with hope and love. “Yes...”
Hand in hand, they walked towards the kitchen, ready to embark on this new chapter together.

One afternoon, a sudden rainstorm hit, and instead of feeling gloomy, Taehyung and Jungkook decided to make the most of it. The sound of raindrops pattering against the windows filled their cozy home, creating a serene atmosphere.
Taehyung looked out the window and smiled. "Hey, Darling, come here!"
Jungkook walked over, curious. "What is it, Tae?"
Taehyung's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Let's go outside and dance in the rain."
Jungkook's eyes widened with excitement. "Really? Won't we get soaked?"
