Covid fucked up everyone's life.
My boxing career was going so good until the pandemic and now I don't make half the money I used to , not that I really need it but it feels better to have my own money. Regardless I took on the task of taking care of the orphanage once in a while and grandpas other jobs that hyeun ju doesn't do.

So today I decided to take advantage of the free day I finally had and go to a fight.

My coach prepped me as I fixed my gloves as well as my hair while he tells me how much I could get from this fight if I win. The amount already enough for me to be satisfied.

" Ari, If you win this you could earn a lot and maybe even give yourself a break and come to the gym once in a while." He says. " maybe" i reply because I will probably not end up doing that because of the jobs grandpa assigns me.

A straight punch to the jaw then an uppercut. That takes my opponent down yet she still wiggles shaking her head as she gets up. As soon as she does she starts attacking me with hits to my face as I cover myself , waiting, waiting. I break her stream of hits with a blow to her liver then her ear making sure she doesn't get up.

I left the fight with 80 million won.
Very happy with myself I decided to pay my old place a visit. Upon arriving I realise there's a match going on. With nothing to do I watch the whole thing.

It's two guys one with curly hair and one with straight. Right now the curly one was going at it but the other quickly hit his liver and he tumbled down.

He still musters himself up and starts teasing the other and with another hit down he goes.

I silently laughed to myself as I headed out.

I started heading towards the bookstore where Hyeon ju told me to meet her.
