CHAPTER 18

Hyoseop woke up the next day of that incident. Jihoon and Hyunwook take him home. Eunwoo wasn't there when Hyoseop discharged from the hospital. He back home to look after Hyunwoo who are still shocked with all the things that happened to his Appa.

On the phone

Eunwoo POV

"I'm sorry Hyung for not informing you.. but Hyoseop Hyung totally fine now.. no need to worry"

"Jihoon (soft tone).. please tell me what happen to him.. I know you're hiding something from me"

"Reallyy.. its nothing Hyung.. Hyoseop Hyung just faint last night.. he was too tired yesterday (chuckled)"

"Jihoon-ah.. (cracked voice) please don't do this to me.. I know Hyoseop.. he is strong, just those work at farm won't affecting him like this.. I know something is not right with him.. please Jihoon I'm begging you.. I don't want to regret later if I don't know what happened to him"

"(Sigh).. Hyoseop Hyung were diagnosed with lung cancer stage 1.. and last night was the second time he being rush to hospital.. he is recovering Hyung.. maybe last night he played with Hyunwoo too much.. Hyung?.. Hyung?.. hello, are you there Hyung?.."

Eunwoo just shoved his phone aside. He can't feel his leg anymore. Eunwoo keep on blaming himself as he burst into tears.

Its all my fault.. he suffered with all the stupid things I throw at him in these 10 years.. and now he is dying from inside.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry Hyoseop.. God please give me another chance to be with him.. I want to take care of him.. I want to love him once again.. I want to be by his side forever.. please cure his illness..

The next day (early morning)
At Ahn family house

Jihoon wake up from his sleep as he need to cook breakfast and check on Hyoseop. As he about to enter the kitchen, Jihoon heard like someone was there. Jihoon keep on walking into the kitchen and to his suprise, his eyes look at the familiar tall figure infront of him.

"Oh you're awake?"

"Eunwoo Hyung?"

"Yes.. go freshen up first and come here, we have breakfast together"

"Wait.. when? How? Why?.. arghhh this is too much for this early morning"

"(Chuckled) I will explain later okay.. now go, you'll be late to office"

Jihoon walk to the bathroom leaving Eunwoo at the kitchen. Both of them had their breakfast while Hyoseop still sleeping upstairs. Jihoon get up from his chair to get a tray to bring Hyoseop his breakfast.

"Its okay, I will feed him. You can go to office now Jihoon"

"But.."

"No, just go.. and tell me which one of these medicine he should take"

After telling Eunwoo about the medicine prescription, Jihoon go to work. Eunwoo take the tray to Hyoseop room. Yes, it was his and Hyoseop bedroom before. As Eunwoo get in the room, he being greet with peaceful face of Hyoseop sleeping.

My hubby.. handsome as always.. his cheek are quite chubby before.. but now its all skinny.. don't worry Hubby, I will take care of you, feed you with so much delicious food.. I'm not gonna leave you anymore..

"Hyoseop.. Hyoseop-ah.. wake up.. wake up Hyoseop-ah"

Hyoseop open his eyes slowly as the sun ray hit his face. Hyoseop rub his eyes to see clearly. He lost his words when he realised that Eunwoo are sitting next to his bed smiling at him.

"Arghh.. Hyoseop-ah.. you're just dreaming.. not in thousand years he will enter this room.. wake up Hyoseop"

Eunwoo cupped Hyoseop face looking straight to his eyes.

"You're not dreaming Hyoseop-ah, I'm here.. see I'm real (chuckled)"

"Wait.. what.. how.. when.. why.. aishh.. where is Jihoon?"

"He already go to the factory.. just keep all your questions first.. now you have to take your breakfast and then you can take your medicine.. now open your mouth aaaahh"

And with that, Eunwoo feed Hyoseop a bowl of porridge. The older look like a lost puppy being pampered by his ex-husband.

"Eunwoo.. why are you here?"

"Oh I'm applying a job at your farm maybe.. of course I'm taking care of you silly, isn't it obvious?"

"But you don't have to do this.. I'm no one to you.. you don't even have to care about me actually"

"Who said that you're no one to me.. you're my Hyunwoo's Appa.. I can't let you sick.. my child will be sad if he saw his Appa like this"

"Eunwoo.. you know very well I don't mean that way right.. (sigh) please don't do this to me Eunwoo.. I don't want to be a burden.. Jihoon can take care of me"

Eunwoo burst into tears

"You never a burden to me Hyoseop.. please, I want to take care of you.. I want to make it right this time.. I'm sorry Hyoseop.. I won't leave you anymore.. I want to be with you.. "

"(Smiled).. but I already lost hope towards you Eunwoo.. I can't accept you back.. I'm afraid if I hurt you once again.. it took me 10 years to gain your forgiveness.. I missed 10 years to see Hyunwoo growing up.. I can't afford to lose anything now.. with my condition, I'm not sure if I can stay any longer..

Tears brimming in his eyes

..(soft tone) Eunwoo.. look at me.. Eunwoo, I do love you sweetheart and always will.. and because of that, I can't let you wasting your time and energy for someone like me.. you're still beautiful as always.. I believe that there are lot of people out there will treat and love you better than me, Eunwoo"

"NO!!.. no one love me better than you.. and don't you dare to say that again. You'll be fine, I'm sure of it.. if you wait 10 years for my forgiveness then I'm willing to wait you forever until you accept me back.. do whatever you want, punish me, insult me all you want.. but please.. don't push me away this time. I'm not gonna move an inch from you. Look, you still hanging our wedding potrait. You have to be strong and I'm here to support you.. please Hyoseop, we're here for you now.. me and Hyunwoo won't leave you ever again"

Hyoseop open his arms for Eunwoo, without wasting time Eunwoo hug Hyoseop tightly while crying on his chest.
