Chapter 22 "I like you."

"Axel, I like you. I really really like you." Madaling pagsabi ni Megan.

Axel : "What? This is insane!" He angrily said.

Megan : "That's true Axel, I like you.. And I don't care anymore if you reject me."

Axel : "I don't wanna hurt you  because I want our friendship to remain the same. "

Megan : "You've already hurted me plenty of times now, yet I'm still here.. Umaasa.

Axel : "I'm sorry Megan." He looked away.

Umalis si Megan ng walang sinabi.

Habang nasa labas siya, bigla niyang nakita si Yohan.

Megan : "Yohan? Anong ginagawa mo dito?"

Yohan : "Oh Axel lives here? I just came here to check up on my cousin, she lives here."

Megan continued to stay quiet.

Yohan : "oh yea what happened between you and Axel?"

Megan : "well I'm fine with it naman, I'm feeling better now thanks to you."

Yohan : "Hm.. I know how to calm you down."

Megan : "How?"

Yohan : "Follow me."

Ayun at sinundan ni Megan si Yohan at sumakay sila ng taxi.

Megan : "Church?" Tanong niya kay Yohan.

Yohan : "yes, sa simbahan mo ibuhos lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman mo."

Megan : "Thank you Yohan.. So much."

Few minutes later and they were done praying. They went outside to go home but then found street foods.

Yohan : "uy! Tara Megan."

Megan : "ha? Hindi ayaw ko. Di ako kumakain ng ganyan."

Yohan : "Ikaw naman, taste it before you judge it."

Megan : "Sure ka?"

Yohan : "yes, I want you to try new things in life kaya tara na."

Nilapitan nila ang mga street food.

Yohan : "Gusto mo fishball?"

Megan : "it looks good, okay."

Kumuha si Yohan at sinubuan si Megan.

Megan : "You really don't have to, di naman ako bata."

Yohan : "Aysus, kinikilig ka yata eh. How is it?"

Megan : "it taste good! Bili ka pa nga more."

Yohan : "Want mo buko juice?"

Megan : "Sure."

Pagkatapos nilang kumain ay madilim na ang langit. Pumunta sila sa park at naghanap ng mauupuan.

Megan : "today was great. Nawala bigla yung feeling of sadness."

Yohan : "I'm glad to hear that."

Megan : "It's all because of you."

Tumingin sila ng malalim sa isa't isa.

Megan : "I like you. You're a simple guy but wholeheartedly  kind."

Yohan : "Wow, that's strange coming from you. Don't worry di kita sisingilin sa treat ko."

Megan : "wow grabe ka ah."

Sinapak ni Megan sa balikat ni Yohan at sabay silang tuwa.

Megan : "pero no joke, thank you talaga."

Yohan : "don't mind about it."

Habang nag-uusap sila, biglang may tumawag kay Megan.

Megan : "Oh no! Kailangan ko na umuwi. I'm sorry."

Yohan : "Samahan na kita."

Megan : "No it's fine."

Yohan moved closer towards Megan at said "It's not safe outside at night.

Megan smiled and agreed, they  walked together while talking.

Few minutes later then arrived at Megan's place. Megan thanked Yohan and Yohan also head back home.

Megan opened the door to their home and saw her mother standing.

Celine : " What do you think you're doing young woman?" She furiously asked Megan.

Megan : "what are you talking about mother?"

Celine : "don't act so naive now Megan. Who is that boy?"

Megan : "He's one of my friends mom that's all."

Celine : "Always remember that you'll go after Axel"

Megan : "for what? To have connections with his rich family? Hindi ako ganyan mom."

Celine : "Weather you like it or not You will marry Axel. Now go to your room."

Megan then stormed out to her room angrily.
