╶╴✢ "URGGH.. PAIMON'S- TIRED..." a tired yet loud voice complains to her companion as they journey across an unknown place, making the said companion groan. "stop complaining already. according to the nahida's navigation, the person we're meeting is close to where we are."
the little pixie let's out a sigh of relief when they arrive at the location, then flying around in confusion due to the fact that there wasn't anyone at the place. "hah???? where's the person??? they're supposed to be somewhere here right??", visible confusion was seen on her face, looking back at her compadre.
"well, yeah.. but i don't see them anywhere.." they sigh, deciding to search the area. "ughhhh nahida must've lied at us!!" stomping her feet in the air, paimon flinches when she heard sounds of bushes moving. "U-uh.. who's there?!?!"
the pixie slowly approaches the bush, curious yet scared of a possible outcome. she flinches once more and flies towards her blonde friend when the bush shuffles again, pointing at it.
"haiya...where's the important people buer told me about- oh!" a female with cat ears gets out of the bush and was left surprised ╶╴the duo is also flabbergasted╶╴. she rushes towards the two, a content grin plastered on her. "helloooooo!! you two must be the famous traveler and paimon!! hajimamashite~!!" the feline takes the blondie's hand and shakes it, leaving no moment for the latter to answer her greeting.
"hey hey! you're gonna make the traveler dizzy!!" the gremlin shouts at the feline, making her ears and tail flinch. "hehe- sorry!!" she gives birth of them a sheepish smile, both her arms on her waist.
"introduction time!! names y/n! the greatest nekomata of the stars at your service!! eh- where are you going??" eyes wide, she chases the duo and yelling at them to come back. both had a face of displeasure, for some reason. "nahida totally rigged us.." they converse between themselves until the feline stops in front of them, catching her breath.
"hey- why did you leave?? buer said you wanted to learn more about teyvat!!" she says in between breaths, her being in a seemingly vulnerable state. the mention of getting more knowledge about the world made paimon perk up with glimmering eyes. the little gremlin tugs her companion's sleeve, a big grin seen on her face. "she IS the one nahida said!!" her expectant expression and gestures makes the traveler see stars instead of grass(it's time to touch grass dude).
"stop shaking me paimon-" the blonde exclaims, pushing paimon gently and steady himself. clearing his throat, he gives the neko a sheepish smile. "sorry for leaving you back there uh- y/n was it?" the girl nods happily, her tail wagging from left to right. "mhm!! you two must be...the famous heroine- uh traveler.. and his best companion paimon! am right? right?!" she looks up at them with sparkly- four point star pupil eyes? huh?? was this nekomata a khaenri'ah native?? the duo thought between themselves, before clearing the thought away. it wouldn't be possible, no. the pupil was a tad bit different(if you dk what it looks like, its basically this ✧ )
"yep!! the great traveler and paimon" the fairy exclaims with confidence, making the traveler let out a chuckle of amusement. "nice to meet you, y/n." he reaches out to grab the said girl's hand, only for her to beat him to it. "hehe!! nice to meet ya' too!!!" she gives him a closed eye grin, showing no hesitance in making a new acquaintance.
