(At the fashion show, everyone rushed to get ready)
Lady Melody: (Pushes a wardrobe) Gangway! Watch it! Coming through! Gangway! Watch it! Coming through!
Montgomery: (Sees her) She's so wonderful.
Paige: She certainly seems to know where she's going. It's time.
Winston: All right, everybody, keep it moving. Don't linger. We just want to give them a hint, a taste, a soupcon appetizers not full course meals. Madam, I don't think we should chew gum. Samantha, those false eyelashes are coming unglued. Those shoes are scuffed. Yes, I know where they are. I'll get them for you.
(Lady Melody bumps into Montgomery)
Montgomery: Sorry.
Lady Melody: Watch it, buster. (Realizes who he is) Oh, Mr. Montgomery, I'm sorry.
Montgomery: Hello. Miss-
Lady Melody: Lady Melody!
Montgomery: Lady Melody? Of course. Have dinner with me tonight.
Lady Melody: Mr. Montgomery, really, I'm very busy.
Montgomery: Could we meet just for a moment? Just one brief moment? (Lady Melody looks at him) Lady Melody, you're a very different looking woman. I'm so tired of the same type: Those tall, thin creatures with the long legs, the aquiline noses, the teeth like pearls, soft skin.
Lady Melody: Yeah, I can see where that might make you sick to your stomach.
Montgomery: Lady-
Lady Melody: Please, now. (Tries to leave but Montgomery pulls her back)
Montgomery: Don't put a door between us.
Generous: (Appears) Hello?
Lady Melody: Oh, Generous!
Generous: I was looking for the lady's room.
Lady Melody: Um, Generous, I want you to meet someone. This is Montgomery. Montgomery, this is Generous, my special friend.
Montgomery: Oh, nice to meet you.
Generous: Um... Excuse me. (Leaves)
Lady Melody: Need I say more?
Montgomery: (Pulls Lady Melody close) Lady Melody, we could have had something very special. Now I can't be responsible for what might happen.
Lady Melody: Yeah, well, c'est la vie. (Leaves)
Laurin: I don't know why you love her like you do.
Montgomery: I don't know why. I just do.
Leona: Well, you better snap out of it and fast.
Lexie: You have to plant the goods on her to take the heat off us.
Montgomery: I know the plan. I just wish there was another way.
Laurin: It is the only way, especially now with the cops asking questions.
Montgomery: I'll do my job. When I give the signal, you do yours. Forgive me, Lady Melody.
(Meanwhile, the oc's took their seats for the show)
Stella: Am I dressed right for this?
Bailey: You look fine, Stella.
Stella: Thank you.
Winston: And now, without further ado. Roses, hyacinths, lilac and bluebells, make up our first fashion bouquet. Here's capricious Leona, a dream in hyacinth blue chiffon with the classic allure of the white pleated collar and cuffs. The skirt is a flutter of godets all complimented by the cloudy folds of blue forming the perfect flower framing hat. Fantastique and thank you, Leona.
