"Wh-o are y-ou?" Was the first- and only thing dick asks, before he painfully coughed. Dick knew that attempting to move- or even escape would go to deaf ears- after all, his leg did break. so he doubted it'd be useful to him.
Jason laughed quietly- "The man who saved you. Or better known as Redhood, Nightwing." He says as he gets up, going to the kitchen to get a couple bowls of soup fixed. The man soon walked back into the living room. He placed the bowl on the coffee table, sitting down again, careful to not jostle the older man's leg. "Why-..." Richard starts, before his attention was grabbed by the smell of food.
He hadn't ate in four days- so of course he'd be easily distracted by it. "Hungry, Dick?" He asked, not picking up his mistake, before the blue-eyed beauty's attention snapped to him, "Why do you know- ." He fell silent, a hand gingerly going to his face to feel for the mask, only to realize it wasn't there. "Redhood-" The man in the mask shook his head, shushing the other, "We will discuss this later. Eat, I can only imagine joker didn't feed you." Jason says, picking a bowl up and pushing it into the injured male's hands, who didn't really protest, only stared at it for a second like it was poisoned, before he wriggled a little to get slightly comfortable.
He picked the spoon up- tenderly eating some soup- It for sure tasted better than his own cooking. Dick watched Redhood get up with his own bowl, pull his mask down as he turned away, going to eat in the kitchen. Now dick and Jason were left alone with their thoughts- Apartment silent as they both ate.
Dick couldn't stop wondering about why Redhood would even save him- especially after shooting him just before he was taken. While Jason, grimaced at his stupidity, having a mental debate of how, just how he was going to keep dick from figuring out who he really was. Sure, he'd kept an eye on Dick- but never would've pieced together the facts that the detective would be bludhaven's glorified hero.
Once dick was done his serving- he took the time to evaluate the bandages redhood used on him. He wanted to look under the bandages that kept his leg in place, but he couldn't bring himself to. He somewhat knew it'd be a gross- unnerving sight. he sighed, leaning into the soft cushions on the back of the couch. His eyelids felt heavy- and found himself drifting off to sleep.
