Chapter 1 - Reunion of Old Friends

Prince Arthur, accompanied by his personal maid, Diana, stands in the Great Hall, awaiting the arrival of Prince Atem and the Pharaoh for their diplomatic meeting. Diana appears a bit anxious, not fully aware of what to expect from the esteemed guests.

Arthur: (Nods) Diana, are you alright? You seem a bit nervous.

Diana: (Nervously) Yes, my Prince. It's just that I'm not accustomed to meeting royalty from other lands.

As they talk, the grand doors of the hall swing open, and Prince Atem, along with the Pharaoh, enter the room. Atem's eyes instantly lock with Diana's, and a warm smile spreads across his face. He approaches her eagerly.

Atem: (Excitedly) Diana! It's really you! I can't believe we're meeting after all these years!

Diana looks surprised, recognizing Atem, her childhood best friend from the past. They shared fond memories of their time together in the kingdom of Kul Elna before she came to Camelot.

Diana: (Smiling) Atem, it's truly you! I never imagined we'd meet again. What brings you to Camelot?

Atem: (Grinning) My father, the Pharaoh, wanted to establish stronger diplomatic ties between our lands. But I must admit, seeing you here is the best part of this visit.

Prince Arthur observes their interaction, sensing a deeper connection between Atem and Diana.

Arthur: (Curiously) Do you two know each other from before?

Diana: (Nods) Yes, my Prince. Atem and I grew up together in Kul Elna.

Atem: (Playfully) "Grew up together" doesn't quite cover it. Diana was my closest friend, and we were inseparable.

Diana blushes at the memory, but she's pleased to see her childhood friend again.

The Pharaoh, intrigued by their bond, steps forward, observing Atem's affectionate demeanor towards Diana

Pharaoh: (Smiling) It's a pleasure to witness such strong connections. Atem, I sense you care deeply for this young lady.

Atem: (Nods) Indeed, Father. Diana holds a special place in my heart.

The Pharaoh turns to King Uther.

Pharaoh: (Politely) King Uther, I would be honored if you allow Diana to serve us during our stay in Camelot. She's not only a skilled maid but also holds the key to Atem's heart.

King Uther considers the request, observing the genuine bond between Atem and Diana.

Uther: (Smiling) Very well, Pharaoh. If it pleases you, Diana shall serve you both during your stay in Camelot.

Diana is taken aback by the Pharaoh's request but accepts the new responsibility with gratitude.

Diana: (Nods) Thank you, Your Majesty. I'll do my best to serve you both.

As the meeting proceeds, Atem and Diana share a warm embrace, happy to have found each other again after all these years. Their reunion marks the beginning of a memorable time in Camelot, bridging two worlds together.

Later that day Atem decides to take matters into his own hands. He gently takes Diana aside and shares his intentions.

Atem: (Softly) Diana, I cannot bear to see you serve as a mere maid. You are my cherished friend, and I want you by my side as I attend to my royal duties. Will you assist me, not as a servant, but as my trusted companion?

Diana is touched by Atem's request, feeling honored by the trust he places in her.

Diana: (Smiling) Of course, Atem. I'll gladly stand by your side and assist you in any way I can.

With a determined look, Atem leads Diana to a private chamber where a collection of elegant Egyptian princess attire is laid out.

Atem: (Excitedly) Since you'll be assisting me with my royal duties, I thought it fitting to dress you in traditional Egyptian fashion.

Diana is both surprised and intrigued by the idea. She agrees, and Atem begins to dress her in the intricately embroidered garments, adorning her with jewelry fit for an Egyptian princess.

Diana: (Amazed) Atem, these clothes are stunning. Thank you for including me in your world like this.

Atem: (Smiling) You look truly regal, Diana. It suits you.

Once Diana is adorned in the elegant attire, Atem places the Millennium Crown, a symbol of power and wisdom, gently on her head. Diana's heart swells with emotion at the significance of the gesture.

Diana: (In awe) Atem, this is an incredible honor. I don't know what to say.

Atem: (Grateful) You don't need to say anything, Diana. I simply want to show you how much you mean to me.
