Darkness had settled over the little house over the street where most houses were dark, there was one little house on the end where lights were still shining through the windows. In the living room, a young woman with brown hair was rocking her child to sleep.
"It's okay baby, Daddy will be here soon" she whispered to her baby that was slowly beginning to calm down and going back to sleep. But she couldn't shake off this feeling that had taken over her. Soon her thoughts were interrupted by footsteps and an older man and woman walking into the living room, the woman had short gray hair and carried a tray with teacups resting on it while the older man was tall and thin, and his hair was also starting to grey and become a little bit thinner.
"Darling, let me put her to bed" The woman spoke to her daughter after she sat down the tray, with a soft smile she took her grandchild in her arms and began to walk up the stairs to the child's bedroom. The young woman turned to her father with a worried look.
"Dad, I'm worried. I haven't heard anything from anyone.. what if?" she was interrupted by her father that placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Let's not go there just yet dear, we will know something soon" The woman closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she nodded, she surely hoped her father was right and maybe she was just being silly. Then a sound from the fireplace made her open her eyes and looked at the sight in front of her.
"Remus..?" the young man looked even more tired than usual she thought, but then she saw this look and red eyes that showed he had cried. She began shaking her head and her long red hair flew around her. "No..No don't say it.." she begged with a cry in her voice, she already knew though before he even said anything.
"He found them, Jess, H.he found them. They are gone" Tears were filling Remus' eyes once more as he saw one o his dearest friends break down in her father's arms. The older man with tears in his own eyes looked at Remus.
"What about the boy?" he asked, Jess, looked up at Remus with the most heartbroken look on her face and still crying loudly, so loudly that her mother from upstairs had heard it and made her way down the stairs. The older woman knew right away seeing the sight of her daughter barely standing on her own and being held up by her father and the young man with tears streaming down his face.
"He survived and the dark lord is gone, we don't know what happened but he is well and alive"
"Poor child, what is gonna happen to him?" the older woman asked placing an arm around her daughter. Remus took a big deep breath before answering.
"Dumbledore has made sure he will stay with Lily's sister's family" Jess snapped her head up her face reading confused and a bit angry as well.
"W..What?! has Dumbledore lost his mind? Petunia loathed her sister and the magical world, she will not care for him.. not the way he needs to. we can do it. Tell Dumbledore we can do it" She started to walk to her closest friend, but Remus just shook his head and laid his hands on her shoulders.
"Jess..there is more you need to know" he spoke with seriousness in his voice along with that sorrow he was feeling. She narrowed her eyebrows and her eyes darted between his.
"What Remus? What do I need to know?"
Screams and cries could be heard from the little house on that dark street in England, screams filled with sorrow and pain. Two children sleeping unknowingly about what had been taking part that night and had no idea what the future would bring them.

A/N: So this is a re-written story I started a long time ago about a girl named Samantha Scamander. This is the story of her and her friends at Hogwarts, we're gonna follow the Golden Quadruplet as they will be called now from their third year at Hogwarts and forward.
This will follow the movie's storylines more than the books but it's very possible the book's storylines will also make a reference in here.
