Scarlett exits the office, and I inform the guys, "Just wait here for a moment, I'll be back." Seonghwa gives me a knowing smirk and comments, "Going to check if your girl is alright to drive herself home?"

I roll my eyes and follow Scarlett out. I call out her name, causing her to turn towards me. "What do you need?" she asks. "I was just wondering if you're fit enough to drive home."

She smiles at me and says, "How cute, you care about me." I chuckle in response, "Perhaps I do; is that a problem?" She shakes her head and replies,

"I never thought my rival would be concerned with my wellbeing. Song Mingi usually has a girl on his arm, but here you are, following me around like a lost puppy."

I smirk at her and say, "Perhaps I've found someone worth the chase." Winking at her, I watch as a blush spreads across her cheeks. "Did I just make the Scarlett Pierce blush?"

"Oh, shut up," she says, laughing. "Don't worry, I'll be fine going home; it was just a graze. It'll heal quickly." I look at her and hold out my hand.'

She looks at me, puzzled. I say to her, "Hand me your phone, silly." With an "oh" sound, she gives me her phone.

I entered my number into her phone and saved it under "Favorite Rival😉" . Handing it back, I said, "Text me once your home."

She smiles at me and says, "I will, but please don't cause any trouble here while I'm away. Sinful City is my second home; my people respect and love me as one of their own." I nod in agreement as she goes on.

"My people respect you knowing you're the best racer in Japan, but I won't hesitate to kick y'all off my property if y'all cause an issue."

I swear, she's so sexy when she's in control. I wouldn't mind her bossing me around. I throw my hands up before saying, "Don't worry, you've shown us nothing but respect, so we'll return the same amount of respect."

She looks at me in relief before saying, "Thank you, now if you'll excuse me, I have some food and a bed waiting for me." I laugh as we walk to her car.

I opened her car door, and she stepped inside. After closing the door, I assured her, "Don't worry about your car; I'll cover the expenses." Her eyes widened in surprise.

"You're my rival though? Why would you pay for the repairment of my car," she says with a confused laugh. "Even if you are my rival, you're interesting to me. Plus, it's the least I can do since you were shot at."

She sighs then says, "Fine, but how do I repay you." I smile and tell her. "Just keep winning the races and be the bad bitch you are."

She smiles at me, takes my hand, and nods. I say, "This won't be the last time you see me here in Sinful City; I'll be coming back often to see my favorite racer."

I give her a wink, which makes her laugh. I swear she's the most beautiful person I've ever seen; no one surpasses her beauty. She says to me, "You and your friends are always welcome here."

I chuckled and reassured her, "Don't worry about Jenni; she's in safe hands with us. We'll return her to you unharmed."

She looks at me and says, "I know, just please take care of her. I love her very much; she can be stubborn sometimes so be prepared for that." I chuckle a bit.

"Alright, go home and get some rest. Don't worry bout us." She yawns and she looked so cute. I swear, I think Seonghwa was right. I think I am falling for her.

She nods and says bye to me before driving away.

As I drive away from "Sinful City," thoughts of Mingi begin to occupy my mind. Do I really have feelings for him? Initially, I only want his title, but now, is there something more I desire? He stood up for me when Cyrus threatened me; The audacity of Cyrus to think he could lay a hand on me is still something I can scarcely believe.

As I was driving, I remembered that I hadn't texted Vincent. When I reached a red light, I took out my phone to send him a message. After texting him, the light turned green.

Upon arriving home, I enter to find Vincent sleeping on the sofa. With a smile, I gently cover him with a blanket and plant a kiss on his forehead. He wakes up and he catches sight of my shoulder, and his eyes widen in astonishment.

"Oh my God, are you okay?" He rises and examines my shoulder. I smile and respond, "I'm fine; it's merely a graze, nothing serious." He exhales in relief, then glances behind me with a puzzled expression and inquires, "Where's Jenni?"

"She stayed behind with The Four Horsemen." He widens his eyes again and says, "Wait, The Four Horsemen, as in the best racers in Japan, and also Mingi being the most wanted racer." I laugh and say, "Yes, she has a thing for Seonghwa, and I think he has a thing for her to."

"Are you sure she'll be safe? She is with some dangerous guys." I smile, reassured by his concern, which mirrors my own. "Don't worry; she will be alright. They are actually quite kind. Mingi stood up for me when Cyrus threatened me."

Vincent nods his head in approval, and I laugh. "This Mingi guy so far is on my good side, he better bring Jenni home safe." I laugh and nod my head. "I already told Seonghwa that if something happens to her, I'll kill him."

Vincent laughs and responds, "Agreed." I proceed to the kitchen to prepare a sandwich for myself. As Vincent enters, he remarks, "I could have prepared that for you." With a mouthful, I offer a smile and a shake of my head, replying, "It's alright; the pain isn't too severe."

Vincent laughs and picks up a bottle of water, saying, "It will be tomorrow." I roll my eyes and complain, "I know, that asshole could have shot me anywhere but my shoulder." We share a laugh, and after wishing him goodnight and kissing his forehead, he heads to his room, and I go to take a shower.

After my shower, I get my phone to text Mingi and when I see his contact name I laugh.

"Really Mingi, "Favorite Rival😉" I say

"What? It's the truth." Mingi says

"What do you have me as?" I say

"My favorite racer🖤" Mingi replies

"Lmaoo, well I'm home and in bed, how is Jenni?" I say

"She's having a lot of fun with Seonghwa; they keep laughing and he taught her how to play pool." Mingi replies

"That's nice, keep her safe and bring her to me when yall are done." I say

"Of course, princess" Mingi says

"Princess huh?" I say

"You know you love it." Mingi replies

"Alright I'm going to sleep, call me when you bring Jenni, good night, Mingi<3. I say

"Will do, good night princess<3"

I smile and fall asleep thinking about Mingi.
