Y/N is on her way to a camp. A family camp that you're not looking forward to, but you promised your mom that you would go.
"It's probably a cult, full of old rich geezers", you thought. You were missing out on 2 weeks of summer to be here.
There won't be any cute guys either. You had checked the list of the people going.
Sure there were other kids, but no boys that were your age.
The camp was hundreds of miles away, and it took a full day of straight driving to reach. Lucky you didn't have to drive in one day. Your mom stopped at hotel for a few nights to make it easier.

Thoughts were racing your mind as your eyes stayed close. It was almost 9 pm when you got to the camp. You told yourself to take a deep breath, and open your eyes.
Your we're in the warm car, surrounded by unfamiliar trees.
I mean, you've seen trees before, but they were different. Indescribable.
You snap back to life when your mom yells to  help carry bags. The tents for us had already been set up.
You look at your mom and ask, "where's the camp?"
"It's by the path" she responds.
You look and see a wide dirt path running over a creek. You grab your backpack and walk towards the path.
It takes a couple steps before you see a big field with tents on the outskirts.
Near the center of the field is a covered dinning area, next to it is a small building that must be the kitchen.
There are a few people walking around in coats, most of them look to be over 50.
You walk to kitchen to meet someone who you recognize.
Spencer is one of the chefs for the camp. He lives in the same city as you and is friends with your mom. You run over to him as he welcomes you.
"Hey Y/N! Good to see you, welcome to camp."
His smile makes you feel a bit less nervous.
You respond,
"thanks, it was a long ride, but I'm glad we made it before it got dark."
He points to a few tents on a hill.
"Y/N, your tents up there. I'll help your mom unpack so you can get settled"
You smile "thanks Spencer "

Your about to head to your tent, when you notice a young girl staring at you. She looked about 10 and had blond curly hair in a side braid. You smile at her and head to your small white tent.
