Zane POV

We soon walked to this little corner and we saw a crowd chanting,

I told Pixal to get behind me.

I soon took a look and there was a crowd bowing down and chanting,

A man dressed in Black, Red and Purple appeared, wearing a giant skeleton on his head.

I think he was a leader or something,

He said some strange words but I could understand it meant that there was some ritual,

Pixal took a peek,

"Don't," I say.

I soon take a look and the guard brings in a man who ran away from us earlier because of how feared he was to get to The Palace of The Overlord.

They soon tied him to something and Pixal still peeked beside my shoulder,

The Leader soon said some spell and then at one point he dug his heart out.

Pixal was terrified and pulled herself closer to me and started to hide her face,

"Don't look!" I say.

She looks at me and kept herself close,

I rubbed her back.

"It's okay," I say,

She doesn't say anything but I have a look and see the guards lowering the man down.

There was this hole and I could see some red shadows and smoke coming through the hole,

The Chanting and rhythm of the huge staffs that other guards held started to go faster and faster.

I could suddenly see the heart that was in the leader's hand catching on fire,

Everyone cheered.

Soon he reveals the stones, 

The Sacred Stones that the village told me about.

It suddenly illuminated purple,

But that was strange because they told us that it illuminated white.

Maybe because Evil is using it, it turns into that colour.

I soon made a decision,

"I'll have to go out there and get that stone," I say.

"What? No, it is too dangerous" Pixal says,

"Yeah, that evil crowd is still out there," Billie says.

"Then I'll wait until they go," I say,

"Let me come with you," Pixal says.

"No, I am not putting anyone in danger," I say,

She sighs,

"It's because I am young, isn't it!" She says.

"No, It's just that I cannot afford to lose you," I say,

Her eyes met mine.

"Really?" She says,

"Yeah, if not then your father will kill me!" I say and Pixal giggles.

"Uh, enough with flirting with your girlfriend! I thought you loved me!" Billie complains of jealousy.
