They stared at one another, lost in each other's eyes. Enemies bonded together, closer than they have ever been before. It shifts he head to see a raven looking at this, a watcher, recording their every movement and almost every word. This turns her head back to meet her eyes. His whisper sends shivers through her body.
"We are the only thing that matters right now."
He bends down and gives her a simple peck on the cheek, it doesn't feel like anything to her more than than wet lips on her cheek.
Yet her heart is still racing, he mind is still turning. It has never felt this before I'm her short life.
He leans down and kisses her on the lips, a hard, cold kiss, that explodes like fireworks.
He releases his lips from hers and looks at her, his eyes gleaming.
She couldn't help but think that he was playing her, that something terrible was going to happen just minutes after they were out of sight of the raven. She broke his gaze and walked toward a light, floating particle just above a tree branch. Not many people other than It would have noticed it, but she's special, she can see things that others can't. She holds her arm up and touches the particle.
This grabs her just in time before they both disappear.
