10:00 AM

The annoying alarm rings for the 2nd time this morning. Damn, I should really get up by now. The lazy man thinks. Changbin finally lifts himself off the bed and looks around the room, his eyesight adjusting to the sudden light.

He reaches over to the nightstand on his side and checks his phone.

[2 missed calls: Mom 💕]

She usually doesn't call during the mornings..? Is something wrong? Changbin thinks as he presses on his mom's contact to call her back.

"Sweetie!! You finally answered, I've been calling you since 8. You weren't sleeping for that long were you?"

"Hey mom. No, I wasn't sleeping.. I was.. just busy."

"Changbin, I'm your mom, you can't lie to me you lazy ass."

"I'm not lying! Anyways, why did you call so early? Is something up?"

"No, nothing's wrong. I just wanted to check in on you two. How are you and Chan lately?"

"We're doing great, mom. Chan's at work right now, he'll be back pretty late though."

"Poor thing, always working so hard. Give him hugs and kisses from me, okay? I miss him! Tell him to stop by soon."

"Mom, how dare you care more about your son-in-law than your actual son. I'm the one you gave birth to!"

"I like Channie better. Oh, I have to go! Bye Binnie, Mom loves you!!"

Damn she hung up so quickly, didn't even let me respond.

Anywayss, Chan won't get back until around 11 pm. I have way too much time to kill without him. I guess I could go on a quick run, then get some breakfast at some café...

Oh! And I can go to the gym, it's been a while. I wanna stay fit after all, that man has been making me gain weight from how much we eat out. Mmm, it sounds like I have a plan for today. Run, breakfast, gym, lunch. And I'll definitely call Chan once he gets his break at 8 PM.

Changbin takes a quick shower and throws on some comfortable black shorts and a black skin-tight compression shirt. He grabs his gym bag and places a casual change of clothes in it so he can shower at the gym. He also fills up his water bottle and places it inside of the bag.

And lastly, he puts on his headphones and his sneakers before heading out of the house. After making sure to lock up the door, Changbin connects his wireless headphones to his phone and plays his newest favorite artist. An Australian artist named Felix.

The fact that his voice was just so unique, especially in its vocal range, impressed and intrigued Changbin. As a producer, he knew exactly what talent was. And this Felix definitely had plenty of it.

Changbin ran for about 20 minutes, heading towards his favorite spot to have breakfast.. Sunshine Café. Luckily he reached the café around 10:50, a decent amount of time before the breakfast menu ended.

He ordered a dish of waffles topped with whipped cream and an assortment of berries, smeared with a bit of melted chocolate. Plus a cold mochaccino as his drink of choice. An adorable waiter who closely resembled a puppy brought him his food rather quickly.

"Enjoy your meal!" said the cute waiter.

"Thank you!"

Changing quickly started to eat, unable to keep his hunger at bay for much longer. The waffles were absolutely delicious. God I love this place.
