I awake from my slumber by the sound of generic ringing coming from an alarm clock. I bring my hands to my eyes and rub my eye lids with my fingers, opening them afterwards. I lift up my upper body and turn to look at the sleeping blonde, who is currently drooling on his plain white pillow.

I swing my legs over my twin sized bed and stand up. I walk over to the alarm clock, that is placed near Alois's bed, and slam my hand on the dismissed button.

I suppose I should wake him up. He obviously has a class this morning if he has his alarm clock for this time in the morning. I kneel down next to his bed and shake his one shoulder that he is not sleeping on. After a few moments of shaking his shoulder, I start to get galled with the boy.

I get up from my kneeling position and shake his shoulder once more. He stays asleep. I continue to shake his body, with no signs of him awaking.

I have grown to my point of irritation and think of a more efficient idea. I take a deep breath and inhale as much air as possible.

''Alois! Wake up now!'' I yell, anger showing in my voice.

By the sudden sound of my vocal noises, the sleeping blonde awakes with pure terror in his eyes. His body shakes in fear. That soon fades once he notices who scared him awake.

''Oh, it's just you! Sorry! I'm a heavy sleepy as you can tell.'' He says, with a small giggle.

''It's okay.'' I say, walking over to the closet.

I pick up one of the several uniforms the school has provided and the damn cloak that I dread to wear over my body. Yes, I understand we are mages, but must we follow the stereotypes?

I walk into the bathroom and lock the door behind me. I set the uniform and cloak on the white bathroom counter and pick up a dark blue tooth brush, that has my name written on it with black sharpie. I put tooth paste onto the toothbrush and brush my teeth, then spitting it out and washing my mouth with water.

I open a draw and pick up a black comb and comb through my bed head, placing it back into the draw once I am done. I take out deodorant and put it on my under arms and spray myself with cologne. Being sixteen, I am bond to smell like rubbish without putting on deodorant.

I pick up the black pair of pants and take off my pajama pants, sliding on the black pair of pants. I take off my night shirt and pick up the white, button up, short sleeved, shirt and button it up. I slide on a pair of white socks and think I'm done putting on my attire, when I remember something I wish I forgotten. The cloak. My hands reach for the cloak, with much hesitation. I grab the cloak and swing it around my body and tie the string around my neck, loosely.

I give myself one last look in the mirror and walk out of the bathroom.

''What took so long? I have to do my hair and get dressed? I didn't think there was someone who took longer to get ready than I.'' He says, walking into the bathroom and closing the door.

My thoughts now on Alois? Quite irritating in all honesty.

I disregard that thought and walk over to my book bag. It's just a solid color of navy green. I look through it, making sure I have everything. Notebooks, check. Paper, check. Binder, check. Lunch money, check. Writing utensils, check. Schedule, check.

I look at my first schedule and see my first class of the day is History of magic. As Alois informed me, all mages must take this coarse, the A and B classes take the morning class together and the other pairs go through the day. So, I guess I will see all the A and B students I will be going to school with.

Alois exits the bathroom, wearing the same attire as I, but with black high heel boots with a dark violet ribbon attached to them.

''You ready to go?'' He asks, picking up his purple back pack.
