volumes 1-3 or Pokémon Red and Blue: follow new Pokémon trainer Red (Ashy boi's counterpart) on his journey along with his rivals Blue (Garys counterpart) and Green (From FireRed and LeafGreen) and their quest to the Pokémon league in the Indigo Plato!
volumes 4-7 or Pokémon Yellow: Follow Yellow, a brand-new trainer from Viridian City on a quest that Blue sent her on to save the League Champion Red. Meet the new and improved Team Rocket (without Jesses and James) and the new and improved Elite 4.
volumes 8-14, gold and silver: Follow Gold, a brand-new trainer who has the goal to win badges, get really good at casino games, raise and befriend Pokémon and travel the Johto region. During his travels he meets silver and crystal. Both Pokémon trainers working under someone. Together they work to save the region from the Masked man.
Volumes 15-22, ruby and sapphire: Follow the new trainers Ruby and Sapphire, a brand-new trainer whose goals are to win contest badges and gym badges. But team Aqua and Magma decide to halt those dreams by using the red and blue orbs and send chaos to the entire region.
volumes 23-25: those volumes show us Greens and Silver's backstories with the masked man and show us their parents. Meanwhile Red and Blue and running from the old hag while traveling the Seviil Islands. Team Rocket comes along with their shenanigans.
volumes 26-29 emerald: after Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Silver gets turned to stone. Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Gold, and Crystal, have to fight team leader Archie from using one of jirachi's wishes to flood the new battle towers.
volumes 1-8, diamond and pearl & platinum: Pokémon trainers and comedians di(diamond) and pearl win a local competition and get a letter with tickets for something. (I forgot 💀) Their letter got swapped with lady's bodyguards' letter and they get dragged into watching and helping her on her family's traditional journey to Mt. Coronet.

Volumes 1-9, black and white: Black, Bianca, and Cheren start their journeys and start gathering information through the Unova region and helping Professor Juniper the new Pokédex. While on his journey, Black meets White from the B.W. Pokémon acting agency and quickly gets put into dept and his Tepig starts acting. volumes 1-2: 2 years after league champion Black goes missing, Cheren gets a job at a school. Blake a kid detective that works above locker, is undercover at this school to find and arrest the 7 sages. Whitley an x team plasma member (white version) joins the school with her Foongus. Together with Hugh they need to stop the 7 sages and the new team Plasma (black version) before they freeze the region.
volumes 1-12, X & Y: follow X. Y. and the idiot nonrelevant trio on their journey around the region. Learn all about mega evelutions, umm.... the only reason you should read this is because Blue and Blaine reappear, and Blue looks very hot
