I finally got home after the drive home. Me and Abbie were sat in the living room. She had brang out the wine before I could say anything. I knew what this meant. A shit ton of questions as usual

"At the end I just wrote my number down and then we went out separate ways" I say
"So you just exchanged numbers.....that's it? He looked good, if your gonna piss about I'm more than glad to take him from you" She responded leaning in and slightly laughing at her own joke
I slightly roll my eyes at her home
"Cmon that was funny"
"Yeah yeah hahaha. Plus I gave him my number so it's more of a waiting game" I say and sigh and take a swig of wine from the bottle
"After all these years I thought you wouldve learnt something" her voice unhappy with my answer. "He better text you"
"I don't know Abbie...he seemed pretty flirty but it was a date to be fair" I replyed with a sense of nervousness coming into me.

After awhile we finished the bottle and Abbie went to bed since she had to get her 'beauty sleep'.
I sighed and slumped back in the sofa. I open my phone hoping to see a message. Nothing. I sigh slightly. 'We left at 6 and it's only halve 9 now, it's fine' I think to myself. Trying to defend him. I try but I can't. Luckily, or unluckily my thoughts are interupred by a buzz coming from my phone. This better be good
