Sanemi ran back to where Aoi was, Y/n was also following behind him.
He opened the door quickly, "What the hell did you say to it." Sanemi questions a vein visible in his forehead Y/n crinkles her face slightly glancing over at Sanemi from being referred to as 'it', "Huh?" Aoi turned to see what was happening, "About wind breathing! What did you tell it?!" He questions walking toward Aoi, towering over her due to the height difference between the two.
Aoi takes a step back, "She wanted to know about breathing techniques, and if they want to be a demon slayer there is nothing you can do about it." Aoi states glaring back keeping her ground while also making a point to refer to not refer to Y/n as 'it', Y/n was standing in the door frame impressed by how Aoi made sure not to back down in front of the temperamental man. Sanemi takes a step closer getting all in Aoi's face.
"Y'know what I can do about it?? Smash your fucking face I-" Sanemi was cut off by a woman knocking on the open door, "I'm going to stop you right there Shinazugawa." She says with a soft smile on her face, yet something about it was... a bit odd? "Ah- Lady Shinobu...!" Aoi moves to the side so the woman can see her more clearly, Aoi bowed her head politely which was a change in scenery compared to how she acted with Sanemi. Sanemi seemed very irritated. Y/n was slightly confused as to why Aoi was being so formal to the lady.
Sanemi turned to face Shinobu, his face full of irritation. "Now, Now, all that anger will cause you to pop a blood vesicle." Shinobu hums, subtle teasing. The vein had become even more visible on his forehead. "Shut the hell up." He mutters out annoyed, walking toward the door stopping next to Y/n.
"If you become a demon slayer, I'll beat the shit out of you. Got it?" Sanemi states, it was more of a warning then a question. he wasn't even looking at her, he just said this under his breath just loud enough for Y/n to hear. "I- uh, yeah sure whatever I got it...?" Y/n agrees slightly uncertain, and with that Sanemi walks out of the room.
"What's up his ass..." Y/n mumbles crossing her arms, the woman had decided to speak up. "Don't take what he says to heart, that's just the way he is." She says causing Y/n to look over to her, walking over to a bookshelf that was set up along the wall. "Ah! I almost forgot, I'm Shinobu Kocho the Insect Pillar~!" Shinobu adds turning her head to smile at Y/n, "Oh- Uhm well nice to meet you, I'm L/n Y/n." Y/n was standing by the door awkwardly, Aoi had walked over to where Shinobu was.
"Y/n says she wants to be a demon slayer." Aoi adds while looking at the bookshelf, running her finger across the books. "Ah is this true??" Shinobu asks titling her head slightly, Y/n perks up. "Well, uh yeah sorta." Y/n answers looking at Shinobu nervously, "Its not that easy, you understand that right?"
Shinobu turns grabbing a book from the bookshelf, it was a book on dissecting an animal's body parts. Her eyes light up, quickly turning to see the table of contents. Aoi looks over to see what she was doing, and her face turned into an expression of disgust, yet swallows putting on a fake smile quickly turning away not wanting to deal with whatever that was.
"Well, I understand it's not easy and will probably take a while yet I'm willing to do whatever it takes." Y/n states confidently, yet soon realizes they weren't listening because their busy in whatever the hell that was. Y/n slouches staring at them blankly, "Yeah, yeah, that's great..." Shinobu mumbles to invested in the book, she was staring intensely at the pages. "Ahem, Ms Shinobu?" Aoi taps Shinobu's shoulder, she perks up. "Ah, my apologies!" She says before turning to Y/n.
Y/n fixed her posture, "So what breathing technique are you interested in?" Shinobu asks smiling curiously. Y/n sighs crossing her arms once more, "I was thinking about wind breathing but that guy is so irritating." Y/n states rolling her eyes, "Y'know Y/n if it were me, I wouldn't let a pesky boy get in the way of what I want." Shinobu says walking toward Y/n.
