Chapter 2

Hot rod had wondered to himself; if the human had seen him, he was Definitely sure that the human hadn't seen him. Keeping his form in that of a vehicle he stayed still. Unsure of himself. He had tried to reach out to the other autobots; knowing his signal was faint. He kept watch of the home.

"humans are tiny creatures" he said to himself; managing to do research on what planet he was he discovered the planet was called earth, humans and animals populated the earth yet it was intriguing to him. He noticed the front door open before the human femme ran to him as she stopped before him.

"i saw you! I saw you do something last night. You are Definitely not a car!" she exclaimed folding her arms over her chest with a smirk adoring her face. Hot rod found himself amused and figured that no harm would come to show himself; he Began to transform until he stood tall and had to kneel down to her level. His blue optics looking into her bright pink eyes they were a soft pink color and her bright red hair. He was intrigued by that.

Saphine had stepped back, looking up at the bot in amazement, she looked at him before allowing sounds to escape. "what are you? And do you need help" she asked as hot rod nodded

"i come from the planet cybertron, it is a planet far from here, i am a automous organism i am alive just as you are i am hot rod"

Saphine nodded listening intently to everyword he said as she processed everything she began to let her mind wonder allowing herself to think; she remembered before moving into this cottage hearing couple of her friends talk about 'transformers' she assumed it was a science matter; now shes not entirely sure, she looked at hot rod.

"i am saphine wells, are you looking for your friends?" hot rods optics widen as he nodded he was unsure of she could help but he though maybe they could help each other. He hadnt notice saphine had pulled out her phone and dialed a number before a voice on the other end answered.

"hey saphine, everything ok?"

"its ok but i got a friend here, hes looking for his friends, he got lost can you come?"

"eh alright, I'll be there" saphine had hung up the phone before smiling up at hot rod who sat down, looking toward the road. He offered his hand as saphine climbed in sitting on his palm as he placed her into his shoulder.

"jack, we are going to maintain vehicular mode, i am going to expose myself to another human incase things go wrong, you must understand i am in charge of your safety" arcee looked worried as she transformed into the two wheeler before heading out. Unsure of what they are going to find or who. Jack knew saphine since they were young and she also heard them talking about the autobots. So driving to her home felt different.

Saphine had smiled as she told hot rod about earth. "so what ruled on earth before you humans?"

"dinosaurs did; they were prehistoric creatures that ruled the world no humans were even created until the extinction of the dinosaurs billions of years ago, now after the asteriod that hurled into earths core caused a lot of natural disaster to happen which is what ultimately led to the dino extinction. But a lonely creature deep into the ocean had began moving as it evolved and eventually humans were created and then there was a huge flood which wiped out most of the primitive humans. Now i do believe in mermaids"

Hot rod gave her a confused expression as he had no idea what a mermaid was. Saphine only smiled at him, she wondered where he was from, but didnt push it as everytime she asked him he would only get silent and not talk to her.

"hot rod?" no answer, saphine felt she might as well talk to the grass next to him, so she did. She plopped down on the ground, hot rod gave her a curious look as she paid no mind to him and looked right at the grass before speaking.

"oh hello, patches of grass, im saphine. I wonder hows the little world of yours there? Oh your mad at me for asking a simple question? Instead of telling me? Oh its ok, i just love the silent treatment" hot rod scoffed before looking away, he knew she was talking about him and he wanted to reliatate back at her but once he saw her face he knew better. Focusing on the road ahead saphine headed inside before she did hotrod spoke.

"im sorry, i should've told you its a hard subject for me about my planet, i miss my home but there is no home to go back too" hot rod said frowning some as he knew there was no going back to to his planet Cybertron no matter how much he wished.

She began to cook some food and looked out of the window, as hotrod had transformed back into a car, facing the road, to ensure noone comes into her driveway that she didnt know or want. He knew a friend of hers was suppose to be coming but had no idea who or if they even knew what he was, he didnt ask. Keeping watch of the road he only wanted to keep saphine safe.

He found a friend that he wanted to protect as he enjoyed listening to her stories and everything that she had to offer him. He was Definitely intrigued by her and felt himself often listening to her words.

Saphine came back and looked at him brfore gently tapping his door as he opened the door allowing her to get in. He drove off, taking saphine for a drive away from her home. "im sorry again saphine"
