"So, what do you need?"
"Well, I was wondering if you could lead me towards this class specifically." Minkyu pointed at his schedule, looking for the said class.
Jin looked at the white sheet and stayed quiet momentarily before nodding, leading the other to his designated classroom.
"How's your day going so far?" Asked Minkyu, hating the silence that surrounded them.
"Farely well." Jin lied.
"Same here." Minkyu chuckled.
Min took out his phone to type a quick message that Jin didn't really pay much attention to. After all, it's not his place to butt in.
It was the moment when he turned a corner that Jin's entire world came crashing down before his very eyes.
There, Namjoon stood with a girl whose arms were wrapped around his neck as she kissed him deeply. The girl with the long blonde hair that Jin recognized as Soojin.
Namjoon didn't even push her away.
Seokjin's eyes brimmed with tears, heart hammering against his chest making it ache with pure, burning pain.
He turned quickly and began to run, dropping his backpack and Minkyu's schedule as he felt deflated. Weak. Unworthy. Neglected. Lied to. He ran as fast as he could to get away, his destination unknown until he ended up on the rooftop, dropping down to his knees and crying his entire heart out with Minkyu having trailed behind him.
"Jin!" He gasped, running over to him and kneeling down beside him.
He felt guilty. So, undeniably guilty for hurting someone he deemed undeserving of such pain. But he had orders to follow, and all he could do now was watch as the person he grew pretty fond over cry himself into a mental breakdown.
He felt awkward in the situation, never once having to comfort anyone and he was quite bad at it.
"He..." Jin began, cutting himself off as he tried to calm his hyperventilating. "He's been cheating on me." He looked lost, eyes puffy and face blotchy, flushed and tear-stricken.
'I have only seen this in movies. I hope this works.' Minkyu thought to himself, sitting next to Jin and pulling him in, letting the brunette rest his head on his shoulder, fingers grazing his locks in a comforting way.
"Why? Why would- h-he do this to m-me, kyu?! Why?!" Jin shook badly, crying into Minkyu's shoulder.
"I'm so sorry, Seokjin." Minkyu whispered, Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed thickly.
"What did I do to d-deserve th-this?"
Minkyu's eyes trailed up to the sky, closing his eyes as he tried his best to keep himself in check. Feeling sorry was never part of the plan.
"I can't believe I ever felt anything for him." The brunette sniffled.
Min pulled away slightly and let his thumb swipe over Jin's cheekbone, wiping away a stray tear as he shrugged and smiled sadly.
"Namjoon really seemed to like you. If he didn't, then he'll later learn that he made a mistake. So don't cry. Best if you keep your head up, and the more you ignore his presence the more he'll see what he did was wrong. He'll come back." Minkyu reassured. Or tried at least.
Jin smiled through tears. Minkyu was a nice guy, so why didn't he meet him before?
Said male was about to stand up off the ground until Jin placed a kiss to his cheek.
"Thanks Min, you're a great guy."
"No problem." Minkyu nodded with a sincere smile.
The door to the rooftop busted open, startling the pair that immediately looked towards the source.
"Look! See? He doesn't need you!" Soojin's voice rang through both Jin and Minkyu's ears, confusing only Jin and surprising kyu.
Namjoon stood there as he saw both guys standing there with a fallen expression.
"Oh, did I interrupt something?" Namjoon sarcastically remarked.
Jin just stood silent, shocked and mind blank.
"I knew you were a whore."
Namjoon's cold words hit Jin like a knife to the heart. Why was he doing this? He couldn't cry now. Namjoon started this mess and it made the brunette's blood boil.
"Oh I'm the whore?! Look who's talking! You're the cheater here!"
"How am I a cheater?! I'm not the one sneaking around!"
"Really? Then what was that kiss about with you and that bitch next to you?!" Jin glared his puffy eyes towards Soojin.
"Face it Jinnie, you've been caught." Suzy smirked.
"Don't you talk to me, you slut!" Jin said angrily.
"Wanna fight, queer trash?!"
"Bring it, skank!"
Both Jin and Soojin started having a cat fight, each struggling to keep the other from hitting anywhere but the face.
Namjoon and Minkyu, however, glared daggers to one another but Kyu wasn't the type to fight unless it was something important. In all honesty he could care less about Soojin, but Jin was different.
Minkyu pulled Jin away who was currently trying to drag the female by the hair. It would've made him laugh if he wasn't trying to pull Jin's strong grip away from the girl at that moment. Namjoon also pulled Soojin away forcibly.
There was a heavy vibe radiating off of everyone. Jin was the first to leave, dragging Kyu behind him. He needed to wash his face to calm down, and he wasn't about leave the lavender head to deal with this issue.
"You okay?" Namjoon asked Soojin.
"Does it look like I'm okay?" Soojin glared as she tried fixing her messy hair.
"Ugh! Look what he did to my nails Namjoonie!" Soojin whined.
Namjoon internally cringed from the nickname that came out of her mouth. It was weird hearing it from her, but now that he knew Jin was with someone new, he thought why not do it himself too.
"Let's go, you need to get yourself fixed. You look like a damn orangutan."
"Hey!" Soojin complained as she walked off the roof with Namjoon.
'Yes! My plan worked! Namjoon is all mine!' Soojin smirked behind Namjoon's back.
It all finally came together.
