Albert clicked off the game and slammed the table with a loud BANG!

"Nope, nope, nope, nope," He breathed, livid. "I'm not getting angry at this game, no I'm not."

He exhaled and leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms in frustration. Beads of sweat dripped down his forehead. After a few silent moments, he huffed and wiped the droplets away, gazing at the empty ceiling.

"Okay well, that's the end of that. Lemme know if you want me to do, uh, more things, in other videos."

He melted into his chair and offered the camera a half-hearted giggle.

"Hopefully my stupid air conditioning will be fixed by then."

Albert smiled before reaching forward to shut it off.

The red light quickly flickered and died out, signaling that it was no longer recording. He leaned back again and continued to stare into the dark void of his ceiling, mind blank and eerily quiet.

What time is it?

The floridian reached for his phone and unlocked it, blue light flickering at his face. He squinted his eyes.

3:25am.

Albert closed his eyes and placed his phone face down on the desk. He took a breath and tried to numb himself, but he couldn't help the sinking feeling start to seep into his chest like an icy, vice-like grip.

Fuck, why?

He threw his arm over his eyes with an exhausted groan. He'd promised himself he wouldn't pull this shit again. He'd promised himself he would get a good night's sleep. But now he was gonna wake up tired.

Again.

And again.

And again.

He sat up and chuckled; half-pained and more like a sob. He didn't know why he kept doing this to himself.

But you do know, Albert.

His channel was already open on his PC. With a quick glance, he almost missed that the video he posted yesterday hit 5 million views.

That's a bit too high, he squinted at the number. He tried blinking a few times to see if it would change, but to his disbelief, it didn't.

What?

With a quick click, he tapped into the video analytics and rose a brow at the unusual stats. How was this video reaching so many people?

He clicked on the advanced section, but what he found only puzzled him even further. The stats showed that most people were either actively searching for this specific video, or it was being shared to them.

Albert shook his head in confusion.

Why the heck would they...?

Curious, he clicked on the video itself and scrolled down to the comments section. Thousands of comments slapped him square in the face as his cheerful voice echoed in the background.
