-the party-
The party was starting soon me and ian, and ian new boyfriend caesar. Were putting up decorations "so he doesn't know" caesar asked me i shook my head. He just found out i was pregnant, they been dating for 2 months and i just told him i was pregnant. Mostly because he wants to be in ian life and it wasn't a hush hush topic anymore we aren't in school anymore. People can know i wont hear the whispering any more i wouldn't be scared that casey is going to find out from someone other than me. I wasn't living in the constant anxiety
"how the fuck did you hid it fron the entire school"
"baggie shit i dont know ceasar" i laughed "im not popular like you and mr ian i can hide from people" i laugh "also know one knew about me hooking up with people so i would be looked at" i smile.
The only thing caesar doesnt know is the dad, i refused to tell him
"so it is someone from school" he smiled i rolled my eyes "who can it be" he rubbed his chin "is it someone i know" he asked ian laughed
"babe give up she's not going to tell you" ian patted his back "and you can even guess it right and she won't tell you your right" he smiled
"so i can guess" caesar laughed as the door opened and my mom walked in with my dad "oh the decoration is cute" my mom smiled to me
"Here's your alcohol" my dad smiled placing it on the table "white claws" he smiled ian smiled thanking him as him and caesar walked into the kitchen to
put them in the fridge
"is that my shirt" my dad smiled looking at my oversize shirt i was wearing i nodded "i wore that shirt the day you were born" he smiled. The shirt was a ACDC shirt that says highway to hell on it with the members of the band
"Party is here" the door opened and casey and izzy walked in, izzy was wearing a short black minnie dress with pink boots she had her hair in two braids and casey was wearing his green sweater he always wears with black basketball shorts and his converse "hello ian and caesar my gift for the party" he smiled handing them a bottle of henny "hello iris and mr steel" he smiled coming to us "mr steel this is my girlfriend izzy" he smiled as izzy smiled to my dad "and izzy you know iris" he smiled izzy looked at me and her smiled dropped and she turned to the kitchen "she is shy" casey smiled at my dad who was already red form second hand embarrassment.
"Right well you kids have fun me and daisy are going to head back to my house let us know if you need anything" my dad smiled
"We doing shots then finish decorating" casey said as the door shut i smiled as he ran into the kitchen "where the shot glasses" casey screamed as ian laughed handing them to him "give me that henny baby" izzy handed him the bottle.
He poured the shots for everyone in the room, no i wasn't drinking i'm pregnant so as casey handed me the drink i handed my shot to ian who was drinking for two tonight "why didn't you take the shot" casey laughs i shrug he nods.
-couple of hours later-
The party got more crazy and soon the apartment was full with different people from my school, some people i can recognize some people i don't even think went to our school and were just here to drink. I sat down at the table and saw ian and caesar talking tricks my friend from my math class dancing in the corner, some people dancing some people just talking some people making out. But my jaw dropped when i saw izzy making out with someone she wasn't supposed too. Izzy was making out with the star football player at my school, grayson smith. Every girl wanted to get with him and well i guess izzy took that in to count and made her way to him. I looked for casey but he was out of sight "fuck casey" i get up from my seat passing izzy as i look for him through the apartment.
When i couldn't find him in the house, i made my way to the roof. As i got closer i can hear the wind from the door being open. and as soon as i got to the door i saw casey sitting up there, where we normally sit.
"Case" i said as he turned around, his eyes were blood shot and he wipped them with the sleves of his sweater, he looked at me then at my stomach
"whats wrong come back to the party" i said he shook his head
"i uh i found out something" he said looking at me again "is it true" he said i looked at him confused "is it fucking true i fucking swear iris, i fucking swear if what i heard is fucking true" he put his hand on the hem of my shirt and i quickled backed away
"what" i screamed "what are you talking about" i yelled again "i dont know what your talking about" i said he shook his head "are you pregrant" he said, i stopped in my tracks i felt the water in my eyes start and i just stopped the world stopped, the one thing i didnt want to happen happened. I kept looking at casey who looked at me waiting for some kind of response but i couldn't i couldn't even speak. My mouth and my throat went dry i had no breath i gulped but it felt like i was swallowing sand.
"Hello" the voice of izzy breaking my thought from behind me "hello babe i wanna go home" she said her lipstick was smudged all over her face and she was only wearing one shoe "hello oh my god earth to fucking casey" she screamed
"ill meet you at my house" he said she rolled her eyes and left the roof "iris tell me the fucking truth" he said i turned back arounnd lifting up my shirt so you can see the baby bump.
I was 7 months pregnant i was showing, i was a big pregnant belly basically "oh god" he dropped to the floor putting his hand to his face
"is it mine iris" he look back up to me "is it my kid i know you haven't hook up with anyone since me so is it mine" again no words could leave my month except a head nod.
He nodded and sat back down at his spot, i sat next to him and he just stared into the night sky not sure what to say, we stayed like that for what seem like forever until he looked at me and spoje again
"when were you going to tell me" he asked i looked at him "i wasn't going to tell you, your going to berkeley i didn't want to ruin it for you" i said he nodded "im sorry" i said he nodded again "i should of talked to you but casey i'm just as scared as you i didn't want this to happen" i said he just sat there
"Caesar told me, he said that he was trying to figure out who the dad is" he laughed "i came up here to maybe find you you were hooking up with some random guy but when you weren't up here i well i found out that maybe it was my kid" he shook his head "i came back down and saw the whore of a girlfriend i have making out with grayson so i thought it was best for me to stay up here" he misled or me "and i guess im a dad"
"surprise" i smiled he laughed "its a girl" i said and he smiled "im due soon too august"
"my brothers birthday was in august"
his older brother 'billy lee mara' died from a car crash when casey was younger
"can we name her after him" he smiled at me i nodded
"billy lee"
"i like it" i smiled at him he laid down "im sorry i didnt tell hou casey" i said he nodded
"Just come lay down" he opened his arms and i rested my head on his chest as we looked up at the sky together "we will figure it out".
